Jev, fan for over 10 years. I’m gonna give you the rundown. The End isn’t even close to the final goal of Minecraft. There are still major boss fights and challenges you should be working toward: -The Wither (Summoned by the player using Wither Skeleton skulls and Soul Sand) -The Warden (Found underground in the Deep Dark biome / Ancient Cities) -Elder Guardian (Located inside Ocean Monuments underwater) -Raid (Triggered after getting the Bad Omen effect and entering a village) -Woodland Mansion (Rare structure in Dark Forests filled with powerful Illagers like Evokers and Vindicators) -Trial Chambers (Underground combat structures with trial spawners and tough waves of mobs) Also, the End has another “level” after you beat the dragon ; you can travel to the outer End islands where you find End Cities, get Elytra wings, and literally fly. You need to be exploring the world and all the different biomes. But first you need to build a home base and house that is the most fun part. And for enchanting you simply need to make an “Enchanting Table” which is 4 obsidian,2 diamond, and one book. Place that and put bookshelf blocks surrounding it for more power. Good luck. 👍
@aristeocortes1858 yeah i wish he did a longer playthrough. He keeps saying "run" so I think he is definitely speedrunning still. I genuinely think staying on one world for a while is a foreign concept to him
@PXKLEhe’s the only person on planet earth debating on using 20 instances for a non speedrun , he keeps trying to mix speed run strats into his gameplay for absolutely no reason .
right?! I just want to watch jev play and enjoy Minecraft, not race and speedrun and half-ass everything just to kill the ender dragon, which is arguably the easiest boss fight in the game
Out of all the modpacks to choose from, RLcraft is the least fun one to play. Its not even hard as a challenge, its just hard/complicated to be spiteful.
7:30 So basically a full set of diamond armor will protect against 80% of damage... The Piglin Brute deals so much damage it takes 4 hearts away with just one hit even in full diamond armor! And creepers can still kill you! Protection lV pn all pieces will reduce the other 20% you take, making them do only 1 heart of damage... Good luck JeV, it's a grind!
you definitely need to make an enchantment table, it makes the game so much more playable. you need 2 diamonds and 4 obsidian to make one; three obby at the bottom, one in the middle, and two diamonds on the left and right. there's lots of different enchants, but you def want protection on your armour, sharpness on your sword, and power on your bow
What helped me improve in this game was truly getting invested into a world. Making a base that I’d remember. Finding pets to keep. Just little things like that help you want to learn things more.
Since you're doing a new playthrough after beating the game, there's 3 things I would recommend doing: 1) Learn about Enchanting, you just need 1 book, 2 diamonds and 4 obsidian to craft one. You'll need alot of sugar cane for paper and cows for leather to make the books and bookshelves if you want stronger enchantments. 2) Learn about potion brewing, you just need 1 blaze rod and 3 cobblestone to craft the brewing stand, and blaze powder to fuel it. Most potions need nether warts, which you can find in fortresses. 3) Try a different strat for the dragon fight and a tip I'll give is to not climb the pillars, just shoot the crystals on top of the pillars and for the caged ones, you can sneak arrows through the bottom of the cages because they have a little gap in them. You don't have to shoot the caged ones if you want, but it is safer. Anyways, loving these Minecraft vids!
Jev I beg you to play this like a normal human being lmaooo I don’t feel like it’s meant to be a game to try to beat. Just build a cool base and explore
Bro can yall stfu and just enjoy the content, I swear every other comment on these videos says this shit, it’s like Minecraft players can’t handle seeing someone play the game differently than someone who’s been playing for 15 years would play, either watch him play the way he wants to play or don’t watch the videos it’s that simple
@prodbp The irony in your comment is insane lol You say people can't handle seeing him play the game differently than someone who's been playing for 15 years, but he's literally playing that way lol He is playing like a player who has done everything and knows how to play the game efficiently, he's literally using speed run strats, something only long time players normally use. He'd have more fun if he wasn't trying to "beat" a game that can't be beaten. He hasn't even dabbled with the other bosses in the game that are HARDER than the ender dragon, the boss he believes signifies "beating" the game.
@rebel8215 Youre saying he should build a cool base and explore, which im not saying he definitely wouldn’t enjoy, but its pretty obvious he’s more interested in having a single objective to accomplish. You can argue the game can’t be beaten but the closest thing to it is definitely beating the ender dragon. I think if he had any interest in doing a full on let’s play he would’ve done it by now. Also just using speedrun strats doesn’t mean you play like a veteran, all the people I know who’ve have been playing the game for a long time rarely use speedrun strats, in fact I’d argue that’s a new player habit because they don’t fully understand when they should take their time
@prodbp Yes, because that's a big part of the game and a way bigger factor than a single boss. Beating the ender dragon isn't beating the game. One, because like we both agree, the game can't be beaten. Two, there are other bosses that are harder than the ender dragon. I'm not saying he needs to do a full on lets play, but you can't deny he'd have a better experience if he built a base (it doesn't even need to be complex) and got into enchanting and doing other aspects of the game. He hasn't fought the wither, he hasn't gone to an ancient city, he hasn't gone for elytra, he hasn't gone to a bastion, he hasn't gone to a trial chamber, he hasn't beat the elder guardian etc. Obviously he can do what he wants, but he's missing out on so much of the game by trying to "beat" it. I also don't see how you can argue that using strats created by and used by long time players is something more commonly used by new players, that doesn't make any sense.
@ededdneddyyy0727Oh! I remeber now! I know he lost a friend, but I'm terrible with names, and forgot it was Valentines Day... Sorry R.I.P Jordan Allen.
Honestly I would treat it like a way more cautious regular Minecraft world. Building a base and carefully progressing seems like the best bet because once you get enchanted diamond armor and tools you’re basically set.
The best way to be safe in hardcore is villager trading. You can get diamond gear by just trading sticks & other easy to find items with the villagers, its not the most enjoyable but its easy 😂
There are people that actually think the GOW remasters are going to be with the new mechanics? Are they actually stupid? That would make no sense. "We're going to remaster the original trilogy but also completely change them entirely." People for real do not have brains.
6:38 it’ll deal consistent dmg as long as u stay in it/don’t break the block, u can technically get out of it without breaking the blocks but that’s only if there’s open space on the sides of it, just walking in a direction is enough unless they fall on u while ur digging up in 1 column or something.
Enchanting is pretty straightforward. You need to craft an enchanting table first, which is 2 diamonds, 4 obsidian and a book. You can use it to enchant items directly, and the more you enchant the more enchantments you 'learn', and will see listed before you enchant another item in the future. Enchanting items consumes XP, and you can also enchant books, whose enchantments can be added to items later with an anvil. You can only make very basic enchantments with just an enchantment table. If you want to make more powerful enchantments, you need to craft bookshelves to surround the enchantment table. It takes 33 bookshelves to fully surround the table and gain access to the most powerful enchantments. This is a simple but slightly tedious process and requires lots of leather and paper, which makes building cow/sugar cane farms essential. You can lead cows to your farm with wheat, and find sugarcane by rivers and oceans. High level enchantments also consume a lot of XP. Hope this helps!
Here’s some tips: - enchanting, 4 obsidian, 1 book (need paper from sugar canes) and 2 diamond, you need lapis to enchant, you can get higher quality enchants by using bookshelves but you won’t be bothered to do that, simple enchants are fine - Use boats to fight enderman, if you stand behind a boat while and enderman chases you it’ll just stand in the boat making it a very easy kill - bread is okay as a food source but if you use flint and steel to set pigs/cows on fire then kill them it drops the cooked meat which is better to eat because of the saturation mechanic which keeps hunger filled for longer - trading with piglings, dig a 2x2 hole in the floor and throw gold ingots in when near piglings, they’ll pick the gold up and give an item in return, can get enderpearls this way but it isn’t too common so pick up all the gold you can - bastions aren’t the best place for inexperienced players, they can have alot of gold and some decent loot but I don’t think it’s worth the risk on a hardcore run unless you’re prepared - always carry a bed on you, skip night if you’re on the surface or can quickly set your spawn if you’re in a tight situation (not to be used in the nether)
I think you should do hardcore but try to do a bunch of stuff,a raid, the wither, the enderdragon, maybe building something really cool on each dimension just basically everything until you die
You don’t have to restart a world. Getting wood, coal and iron is easy. Only thing worth going back to get is diamonds, enchanted shit, shit that had mending.
Majority of the time “Remakes” are built from the ground up in a new light. “Remasters” tend to stay faithful to the original with updated graphics. Safe to say the GoW remake will be like GoW 2018.
For when you learn to enchant, you need lapis lazuli and books which you can make with leather and sugar can to make pages for the books. You want your level over level 30 for the best chance of getting multiple enchantments in one. Do you want unbreaking for all tools and armor that way they don’t break. For swords do you want sharpness. For pickaxes you want efficiency. For Bows you want power and fire aspect. There are multiple tiers to the enchantments too that makes them even more effective. For example, power IV, sharpness IV, unbreaking III. And to repair tools once they get damaged and are close to breaking, make an anvil and use the ore that they are made from. You can also get an enchantment called fortune that goes in three tiers that will multiply how many orders you can get one breaking in ore block, say if you’re looking for diamonds and you break a block of diamond, instead of just giving you one diamond it can give you up to four. It’s not guaranteed every time but most of the time you’ll get multiple of that item. I hope this helps!
Here’s some tips Jev: Always have a water bucket on you in the normal world/The End. They don’t work in the Nether so get some gold, and trade with Piglins till you get 3 or so fire resistance potions. Throw gold ingots at them to trade. You can also make some copper armour if you can’t find much Iron at first, and also make an enchantment table. You need Lapis to enchant too, and levels. To get better/higher levels, you’ll need to put bookshelves around it that are just one block away. The more bookshelves, the better. Level 1 enchantments on all your stuff should be decent enough though!
I'm not usually one to comment on any form of social media. But I have to say, Jev is the only person who I have been consistently able to sit down and watch play ANYTHING, for so many years now. For me to think after all of the CODs I raged through with him, that I'd now get to witness a dedicated mc series, just insane. Massive shoutout to Jev for always being someone I can come back to and enjoy watching.
5:45 if you open up your coordinates on that screen it should also say how many days you've been in the world, 1 full day = 20min, but if you're sleeping through the night, 1 full day = 10min, so it's a rough estimate of time
The sea creatures are known to suffer from depression. Being in the depths they tend to feel alone, with their only interactions being with people that either run from them in terror or try to kill them. Eventually they start believing they’re the problem, and choose to end their own life by drowning in a symbolic manner, showing that even though they’re a sea creature they are imperfect, even for the sea.
An enchantment table is crafted with four obsidian blocks, two diamonds, and one book. The recipe is obsidian placed in a triangle at the bottom, with a diamond on either side and the book at the top (i.e. a pyramid shape). Furthermore, you need levels/xp---the green number & bar right above your hot bar at the bottom of your screen which can be increased by killing mobs, mining ores (especially nether quartz), smelting various items, breeding animals, and trading with villagers---books, which can be crafted or dropped by breaking bookshelves, as well as lapis lazuli to enchant (it is consumable when enchanting so try to mine a large supply, same goes for the books!). Good luck and remember: fortis fortuna adiuvat!
What these new players don't understand is how good enchants are, which is understandable because no one tells them. If you have full protection and feather falling diamond armor(netherite isn't really necessary), it's very difficult to die to the ender dragon unless he hits you off the map.
From what I understand, Axes ignore armor and give your shield a cooldown, I think, so armor is still worth it for most mobs but if you see something with an axe, use ur bow. Bows also have an infinity enchantment where you just need one arrow.
Focus on getting like 1-2 stacks of gold because as soon as you enter the nether the piglin mobs (friendly mobs while wearing gold) you can throw your gold on the ground and they will pick it up and trade and you can get ender pearls from that too just in case you can’t find a warped forest those piglins spawn in almost every biome in the nether good luck!
Enchanting tables apply 1 known enchantment with the possibility that other random enchants are added. If you surround the table with bookshelves and put it in a dark place your enchanting level goes up (max is 30). If you want specific enchantments you can get a library villager with a lectern and you can keep breaking the lectern until you get the book you want. If you want to combine enchantments and use books you need an anvil which costs levels depending on how good the tool/armor is.
For strip mining diamonds, the lower you are the more it spawns. So mine at y-53 so you can get the most diamonds and also be above the lava pools that spawn. If you feeling ballsy, y-59 is the best but you’ll run into lava from above more often.
Please make a house and nether portal in the same area. Stop running miles with all of the stuff that could potentially rebuild you. Make a home, live in the world that will sculpt the jev that wants to beat the ender dragon.
Jev for the hardcore world you should forcefully give the villagers jobs, by placing certain job blocks(compost, blast furnace, cauldron, etc.) using the blast furcance and the smiting table you can get full diamonds armour and tools without spending a single minute in the mines. You can get emeralds by trading basic things like sticks to the fletcher villager(fletching table) or sell paper to the cartographer(four pieces of wood and two pieces of paper)
leveling up to enchant is incredibly important. make a diamond pick, the enchanting table, surrond it with book shelves, then enchant ur pick, bow , and armor, its supper important to surving in hard / hardcore. you can get stuff like infinity on bows so you only need 1 arrow, to protection 4 on a diamond chestpiece to make it have the same armor as a full iron set.
Use your diamonds to make an enchanting table, kill alot of skeletons for bones to make bonemeal and find sugar cane so you can make books and bookshelfs for the enchanting table then get EXP to enchant your gear, get fortune 3 for your pickaxe so you get more ores when mining
You can get enchanted books from fishing. It takes awhile but there are enchantments you can put on your fishing rod to make it more efficient. Using an enchantment table is probably better though.
I love how he refuses to play the game in a non end game mindset.Casually skips building a house, enchanting, getting animals, doing the smaller dungeons, etc 😂
Jev, you can actually increase game brightness in the minecraft files, it makes you see in caves and all speedrunners use it. Furthermore torches won’t be necessary anymore
Jev, fan for over 10 years. I’m gonna give you the rundown.
The End isn’t even close to the final goal of Minecraft.
There are still major boss fights and challenges you should be working toward:
-The Wither
(Summoned by the player using Wither Skeleton skulls and Soul Sand)
-The Warden
(Found underground in the Deep Dark biome / Ancient Cities)
-Elder Guardian
(Located inside Ocean Monuments underwater)
-Raid (Triggered after getting the Bad Omen effect and entering a village)
-Woodland Mansion
(Rare structure in Dark Forests filled with powerful Illagers like Evokers and Vindicators)
-Trial Chambers (Underground combat structures with trial spawners and tough waves of mobs)
Also, the End has another “level” after you beat the dragon ; you can travel to the outer End islands where you find End Cities, get Elytra wings, and literally fly.

Yeah he isn’t going to even bother. That takes 100+ hours
@XxDONTlookBACK100+ is a crazy stretch
@XxDONTlookBACKu must suck at time management or suck at the game
he killed the wither like 6 years ago idk why he acts like he's brand new to the game😂
@supremeboxers50did he really?
I’ve never seen anyone play Minecraft like jev😭😭
Then you've never watched a non experienced mc player play mc
@PXKLEI mean it by the way he gets to speed run the game but also trys to have a normal play through and doesn’t build a base and stuff
@aristeocortes1858 yeah i wish he did a longer playthrough. He keeps saying "run" so I think he is definitely speedrunning still.
I genuinely think staying on one world for a while is a foreign concept to him
@PXKLEhe’s the only person on planet earth debating on using 20 instances for a non speedrun , he keeps trying to mix speed run strats into his gameplay for absolutely no reason .
caveman gaming
a minecraft ragetage would feed my starving children jason
"In liquid form"😭
jev minecraft hunger games

I know dude 😭😭😭
right?! I just want to watch jev play and enjoy Minecraft, not race and speedrun and half-ass everything just to kill the ender dragon, which is arguably the easiest boss fight in the game
tf would he need a base for if he just wants to beat the game
Challenge accepted: build something
JEV BUILD A DAMN HOUSR
The way he over analyzes simple shit like this at 1:10 but under analyzes shit like taking on the ender dragon
“run it” a king never backs down
goat died like 2 mins in but that’s alright 😭😭
jev needs to give us some Arc Raiders footage again
MORE MINECRAFT? LET’S GOOOO
1:01 we love these videos Jev
I still wanna see Jev freakout in an RLcraft playthrough
RLCraft is buns
Promience II or an RPG progression modpack would suit him better tbh
Bro... Baby steps. He barely knows normal MC lol
Out of all the modpacks to choose from, RLcraft is the least fun one to play. Its not even hard as a challenge, its just hard/complicated to be spiteful.
he doesnt even know how to play minecraft rlcraft will never happen
why would RUclips hide this from me for 26 seconds
7 minutes for me >:(
Hahahaha 😐
26 mins
29 mins for me
33 minutes for me

Glad someone in the comments recalls RIP
Jev plays minecraft like a roguelike
Your first fully enchanted diamond sword will make you feel a way

3:29 already looking at patch notes he's locked in fr
8:01 those that don’t appreciate JEV mining his crafting table with an axe and NOT a pickaxe should think about life

5 seconds ago, what a pull from the algorithm
Rip to Jevs friend that passed og know about the story
Wait who passed not one of the old ragetage crew?
R.I.P. Jordan Allen
Sorry for your loss... Who were they?
@WhoLetTheDogOut Jordan Allen was an old friend of Jev who lost his life in a car accident.
@ededdneddyyy0727Oh! I remeber now! I know he lost a friend, but I'm terrible with names, and forgot it was Valentines Day... Sorry
R.I.P Jordan Allen.
he's finally showing interest in enchanting YES
If anyone is a real Jev fan they know valentines is a hard day for him. PRAYERS UP for you Jason rip all the homies ❤️
Legendary refresh pull
Furthest you got in hardcore was burning to death in the nether.
Plus you’re more of a 100 days Minecraft player than a speed runner. I think you’d enjoy playing it more of a chill way since you beat it now
Honestly I would treat it like a way more cautious regular Minecraft world. Building a base and carefully progressing seems like the best bet because once you get enchanted diamond armor and tools you’re basically set.
8:23 yes, yes you just watched a glow squid die. their dye makes signs glow
We all watching this instead of laying pipe tn huh?
I laid pipe last night brother 👍👌
My uncle's not in town so I'll get his pipe another time
I’m 6
@Joedougal😂😂😂😂
This is my first time commenting on a RUclips video in years just to ask for longer Minecraft videos, please. These are gold.
Jev has to finish the journey now

Jev needs to go find an ancient city. Bro loves horror games it would be CINEMA to watch him freak out in an ancient city. 🤣
5:06 “the archers” im dead lmao
Don’t worry about going into a bastion, too risky. Also u can trade with villagers for ender pearls

Need to build an enchanting table and add bookcases around it to increase better enchants
Jev is giving us a gold mine of classic videos we'll come back and watch again in 5 years
We love you Jev!

I like the non C418 music, but it just doesn't suit Minecraft in my opinion.
i love watching Jev play minecraft

The real challenge Is getting every achievement and 100% the game, but jev dont wanna talk about that.
jev may be the elden ring king but he could never 100% minecraft
this isn't mw19 bro repax
That would require him to build any sort of structure 😭😭
Lol na dude is running around in full iron thinking he is done
It’s people like you that confuse and upset him lol
WE ARE SO BACK
imagine if he live streamed and just build , do random stuff in game and just yapp

Safe to say the GoW remake will be like GoW 2018.
Jev try fishing, one of the most addictive pass time in Minecraft. Get enchanted books, insane enchanted bows. Worth it

It’s not guaranteed every time but most of the time you’ll get multiple of that item. I hope this helps!
Next video: minecraft is an impossible game
9:37 Jev, That bucket will save ur life the 1 time u really need it to
imagine jev playing something like ATM or BMC
Here’s some tips Jev: Always have a water bucket on you in the normal world/The End. They don’t work in the Nether so get some gold, and trade with Piglins till you get 3 or so fire resistance potions. Throw gold ingots at them to trade.
You can also make some copper armour if you can’t find much Iron at first, and also make an enchantment table. You need Lapis to enchant too, and levels.
To get better/higher levels, you’ll need to put bookshelves around it that are just one block away. The more bookshelves, the better. Level 1 enchantments on all your stuff should be decent enough though!
Jev you already beat Minecraft now we need a full Terraria playthrough
You can use copper to make tools and armor. Not as good as iron, but it gets you by.
also there’s a tier above diamond it’s called netherite and it’s SUPER annoying to get lol
5:47 its like 1.5 jev
You could also count the heart particles.
Jumping shows more heart particles
5:45 if you open up your coordinates on that screen it should also say how many days you've been in the world, 1 full day = 20min, but if you're sleeping through the night, 1 full day = 10min, so it's a rough estimate of time
Jevs to do list:
1) Literally every farm in the game
2) Mega base
Then I will be satisfied
He is not doing ts😂
tf would he need a "mega base" and farms for if hes just trying to beat the game in hardcore
@kamilpalka7837 It's a joke, relax kiddo. Go play fortnite.
Can someone please tell Jev there are faster ways to cook food and smelt iron💀💀. He needs a blast furnace and a smoker.
Take your time this run bro, get some enchants. Try to get NETHERITE.
Thank god he's keeping this series going
4:27 "reget" 🥀
Big refresh pull
4:10 prime example of why you build a shield first before anything else
7:10 did you not play the game for like 15 uploads in 2019 im confused
Legit i dont get why he acting like a noob its sort of annoying
@randomguy0.o474go outside bro 😂
he played way before that too on xbox 360 in like 2013
@Ehstoleright i remember that too rip fefe
@randomguy0.o474same, but its jev so im not really surprised. dudes naive as shit. it is what it is
Focus on getting like 1-2 stacks of gold because as soon as you enter the nether the piglin mobs (friendly mobs while wearing gold) you can throw your gold on the ground and they will pick it up and trade and you can get ender pearls from that too just in case you can’t find a warped forest those piglins spawn in almost every biome in the nether good luck!
11:51 this game is not about beating stop watching speedrun videos
Terraria Expert/Mastermode is waiting Jev
Enchanting tables apply 1 known enchantment with the possibility that other random enchants are added. If you surround the table with bookshelves and put it in a dark place your enchanting level goes up (max is 30). If you want specific enchantments you can get a library villager with a lectern and you can keep breaking the lectern until you get the book you want. If you want to combine enchantments and use books you need an anvil which costs levels depending on how good the tool/armor is.
2:15 is crazy.. Jev beat elden ring level 1, u dont need full diamond to beat minecraft lmao
For strip mining diamonds, the lower you are the more it spawns. So mine at y-53 so you can get the most diamonds and also be above the lava pools that spawn. If you feeling ballsy, y-59 is the best but you’ll run into lava from above more often.
what is the seed at 4:25
@Hamb0-r3aLasking a question isnt lame
It is when it comes to a game that jev doesnt give a shit about and has nor real knowledge of @zaid3459
@Hamb0-r3aLdummy
Please make a house and nether portal in the same area. Stop running miles with all of the stuff that could potentially rebuild you. Make a home, live in the world that will sculpt the jev that wants to beat the ender dragon.
Never forget the files. Trump... Burn In HELL!
I'd say this isn't the channel for that, but.... OMFG those kids
I haven't seen them, but are they really that bad? Like those crimes are bad, but is it so bad our govenrment is involved?
3:25 lmao Jev gonna be checking the patch notes for Minecraft.
Who remember the v day jev videos
I believe hardcore IS harder than just hard. Hunger loss is faster, mobs hit harder, have more health, etc.
Insane that i started watching Jev in middle school, and now im 24 and engaged watching Jev’s minecraft play through together with my fiance
leveling up to enchant is incredibly important. make a diamond pick, the enchanting table, surrond it with book shelves, then enchant ur pick, bow , and armor, its supper important to surving in hard / hardcore.
you can get stuff like infinity on bows so you only need 1 arrow, to protection 4 on a diamond chestpiece to make it have the same armor as a full iron set.
The fact that he is doing small MC pro starts on complete accident shows that all he needs to do is polish his gameplay 😮💨
the minecraft series isnt over yet . the children (some are in their 20s and 30s or more) are happy
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED: Get at least one netherite armor piece (leggings, boots, helmet, or chestplate) 🫡
