    What actions should be taken if an Airbus A320 experiences an engine failure in cruise light? And what if you experience dual engine failure? In this video, an Airbus A320 FO, Roman, and a flight instructor at BAA Training, Egor, will provide you with all the necessary procedures.

    I understand the keeping 300kts to attempt engine relight however my first consideration in this case would be gliding range. If in close proxmity, get to that aerodrome and circle above to at least give yourself a runway in case of no relight

    sir in this condition when you want use from APU you should desent to low attitudes so that apu can get more air and start
    in high attitudes you can use RAT as FABIO CALISSI said

  • @FabioCalissi
    @FabioCalissi 6 лет назад +2

    two questions:
    1) i noticed you only tried starting APU (and engine 1) only one time - why it's not ok to try many times just in case you may succeed and have full electic power instead of the few watts from your RAT?
    2) when you use reverse with only 1 engine running, do you need to counteract with rudder?

    • @rayanaltowayan9558
      @rayanaltowayan9558 6 лет назад +5

      Fabio Calissi 1) if it doesn’t work one time, it’s unlikely it will work the next time, also this will take a lot of time, and in emergency you can’t waste time. 2) yes you need to correct with rudder inputs to stay on runway centre line, because using only one reverser will make the force unbalanced and shift the aircraft to one side.

  • @alessiocalandrella5941
    @alessiocalandrella5941 5 лет назад +4

    I've just two questions. Why use of thrust reverse with only one engine operative? And, why landing FULL config instead a FLAPS 3 config?

    • @raulelizalde3171
      @raulelizalde3171 4 года назад +7

      Procedures, no restriction, if you have one reverser operative, you can take advantage of it. . For flaps 3 landing there's a procedure 'one engine out straight in approach' that leads you to land with flaps 3 if you are expecting an intermediate level off, otherwise full is ok. Cheers.

      On the Airbus there’s no callout of three green. Once gear selector is moved to down position and on the ecam you see the triangle over the gear indicator the callout is just gear down. 😊

    Seriously, who's the instructor and who's the f/o? Dude in the right seat behaves like he's the instructor despite sitting in the right seat... Besides, they both look way too young for one of them to be an instructor, or do instructors not need thousands of hours in the air and special training for that, too? While I appreciate the effort and the knowledge gained, this video does not instill trust into the BAA Training organisation at all. Sorry.

      Sunny Chan the point is for situational awareness. In the real world you don't get a handy warning for dual engine failure so the important thing is to learn what to do in the simulator and maintain situational awareness.

    Ну шо, пройдемся по косякам?
    - Нет озвучивания названия отказа на ЕСАМ
    - Нет доклада диспетчеру
    - Не нажата кнопка Master Caution
    - Команда "ECAM Actions" подется без предварительного "I have control, communications"
    - Название отказа ENGINE 1 FAIL, а не FAILURE
    - Необходимо сторого озвучивать НОМЕР командного переключателя - Confirm Engine master ONE(!!!), тоже самое и с первым THR LVR
    - На пенели оверхэд, сначала озвучивается система, затем выполняется действие ("ELECTRICAL, GEN 1 OFF")
    - LAND ASAP Amber - это не Secondary Failure
    - Основание запуска APU при просмотре страницы ELEC? Данное действие например описано в FCOM в процедуре ENG SHUT DOWN, необходимости в скорейшем запуске нет, самолет рассчитн на полет с одним генератором.
    - Дошли до STATUS, озвучивает - "STATUS", PF - " Stop STATUS" - неверный коллаут, правильный - "STOP ECAM"
    - PF летит сам по себе, FD's сами по себе
    - PF без передачи управления начал что-то делать в MCDU
    - При "Remove STATUS" надо нажимать кнопку STS а не CLR
    - Бросили перезапуск двигателя
    - Вишенка на торте, - РЕВЕРС ТОЛЬКО ОДНОГО РУДа, это полный провал!
    и тд и тп
    В общем, очень вредное видео
