@@thesacredlobo probably but this game was hugging the hell out of me for years because I didn't know if it was real or not but I did remember playing a game like this and yes I literally searched up "game with small blue creature" then I searched up OLD PS2 games list and well that went in for days because some of the links had no pictures of said games but hey at least I got to see another old game I played Musashi it was cheesy but good lol
My lord, this game is awful, but I do say that final boss theme is memorable, even if totally unfitting. Totally sounds like something I’d hear on one of those lo-fi study jazz playlists.
Yeah, it's hard to deny that this game is awful. Though, I'd argue "Lunar Dragon: Song" is a lot worse. Though oddly enough I've beaten "Lunar Dragon: Song" and this game three times each. So apparently I have a soft spot for crappy games.
@@thesacredlobo While I have your attention, could you explain what's going on with some of these game mechanics? I get that the meter at the top fills up, you can pick one of 3 attacks when it fills up, and if the opponent picks the right type they guard it. But what the heck is going on with the meter at the bottom of the screen that only shows up sometimes, that line of green orbs around both characters' images at the top corners, or that healing move you were able to spam around 3:30? I have read a little bit about it elsewhere, but I still don't understand.
@@KnakuanaRka - "While I have your attention, could you explain what's going on with some of these game mechanics?" Honestly it usually isn't that difficult to get my attention. I usually only receive a couple of comments a day if I even manage to get that many. I really don't have a particularly active subscriber base despite having post over 8,000 videos at this point. "But what the heck is going on with the meter at the bottom of the screen that only shows up sometimes," That meter represents how quickly you can perform an action as Luna who serves as Komi's trainer. "or that healing move you were able to spam around 3:30?" You can speed up how often Luna can perform an action such as casting her healing spell by spinning the right analog stick. If you spin it a certain way the gauge will instantly go from empty to full. So the healing spam you see me perform is based on exploiting the system by moving the right analog stick in a certain way. Though, I'm not sure I can accurately describe how to do this trick. You basically need to rapidly smash the analog stick and back and forth at a 45 degree angle while moving the analog slightly to the left on the down swing and slightly to the right on the upswing in order to trick the game into thinking your rapidly spinning the analog stick in complete circles. Of course, your right and left may need to be flipped depending on if you prefer your primary movement being like this / (how I do it) or like this \. Though my angle of attack is closer to 45 degrees then the lines depicted. Though I'll admit this exploit definitely removes any challenge the game might have had. After all, the only way the enemy can beat you if your using this exploit is if the enemy manages to one shot you. "that line of green orbs around both characters' images at the top corners" That represents how many points you and the enemy have for performing actions with your pets. Every time a pet gets a chance to attack they gain 3 points and can either spend 1 point on a fast attack, 2 points on a strong attack, or 4+ points on your ultimate attack. As you see in the footage when you use your ultimate attack it consumes all of your available points, but the strength of that attack increases as you put more points into it. So if you spend 6 points on your ultimate attack it will be stronger then if you had activated it while only having 4 points.
thesacredlobo Sure, thanks for explaining things. And as for getting attention, I thought this channel was super-old and long dead; I didn’t check and see you’re still posting stuff until a bit after you replied that.
@@KnakuanaRka - I've been a bit slow this month and will probably only post a few videos next month. I've been focusing on releasing a lot of videos for August at this point.
I'd argue it's only partially luck based since the various enemies follow a specific pattern of attacks. As such, you can readily sit down and map out their various attack patterns and use that knowledge to your advantage if you want to.
Uncle Matt is love, uncle Matt is life
Uncle Matter also looks like a Martian.

Took me a while to actually find the game if the game like three hours but I had to keep convincing myself that this game was NOT a fevered dream lol
At least the fevered dream probably had a faster load rate.
