I bought all of these upgrade parts plus a few others for installation on my new AT4V kit. Everything fitted pretty well and it looks great. The only comment I have is that to fit the diff cover you need to remove the diff-lock control wire. When it is fitted in the first instance with the plastic part the grub screw squashes the end of the wire flat. When you install the upgrade metal covers, the control wire is almost impossible to push through the hole in the cover as it has been flattened. Something for Cross-RC to think about. I had to trim the end off the wire to have any hope of pushing it through the hole. Luckily I have spare wires in the Diff-Lock Control Kit upgrade if I need them. The other slight issue was removing the upper bearings from the plastic portal axle covers to re-install in the metal covers. You have to try to insert a hook to pull them out as there is no rear access (unlike the lower bearing). You can see the parts installed on my truck by checking the AT4V kit build video on my channel, BlackSeaRC.
All you really need is a multi chemistry battery charger giving you the option of running Nimh (Nickle metal hydride) or Lipo (lithium polymer) batteries. For lipo batteries, one capable of two or three cell should be more than adequate. We carry Spektrum, Gens Ace, Venom and a few other budget and higher priced options. Best suggestion is find out what others in your area are using themselves. This way if you have questions, they'll be more able to help.
@@richardwest2505 crossrc.us will get you there. Please keep in mind we do not currently sell any of these chargers on the site, as we are a HobbyTown USA, which does have a national web site that sell these and other chargers.
Nice looking parts. Ordered a jt4 should be arriving on Monday. Such a good looking truck.

I had the same issue with the cable. I'll check out your video.
So is your store the CROSS RC store? I was looking for links, but you didn't list any links for upgrade parts.
Sorry I've forgotten to add the link to the store several times after posting videos. So here you go...
