I have the 1999 version of the Lexus LX 470. Got it used. Same color as the one you reviewed. My vehicle is just as nice and has 196,400 miles on it. It still drives like a dream. smooth ride, all the controls work fine. Being older, it has a CD player and a cassette player! Some of features yours has mine does not. Our leather seats were pretty worn out so I had them recovered. Love it!
365,000 miles on my 2004 LX 470. its pulled 3 horse trailers, atv’s, 34’ Grady White cuddy cabin, landscape trailers. Pulled tree trunks out of the ground. It’s just fun to drive. Amazingly I have had a lot of people pull up and ask if I want to sell it! My wife always tells them yes, she hates it. I am finally going to get a new lx 600 , but my baby not going anywhere
Nice video. I like the interesting facts you mentioned from 2004. When you buy Toyota/Lexus you're buying a timeless product that will last and give you the opportunity to build memories. It's why they are my favorite, by far. This car in the review can easily go up to over 500,000 miles.
Couple of things that set the land cruiser / LX line apart from other Toyota vehicles: - they are all made in Japan to a very high specification - the engine block has a MRI done prior to assembly to check for micro fractures, bubbles etc -they are built with a 25 year service life and regularly go 500-600k miles with proper maintenance.
This is not an exaggeration. This is quite simply the greatest vehicle ever made. I stand corrected. The 200 series land cruiser is the greatest vehicle ever made, and that’s not available. This is technically the second best vehicle ever made. Fantastic review. Thanks for posting. PS any serious car guy will tell you the 100 series land cruiser and the 200 series Land Cruiser.’s are the best SUVs ever built.
My 03 is 71K, without the rear entertainment and night vision windshield. It's over 80K with all the options, but then again the LC100 is pretty much close to the same price. 225K later and it's built up for Overlanding, turns heads, and runs like new.
I’m sick of videos like these skewing the market. There’s no freaking way this old high mileage suv should be over $10k. Now cause some goof made a video on how good the suv was back in the day that now in todays world be the same price as a new car. This new society is wack
@@Stormtrooper_98Trd Like I said before and still holds true even more now. You're a fool if you spend over $10K for any 20-plus-year-old suv with over 100k miles, American or Japanese. Just say you made a bad investment. Toyotas in those years were known to have frame, electrical, paint and weather stripping issues, but that was known to the owners not people just regurgitating what someone else said on the internet.

I’ve always wondered how people pull trunks out of the ground and prevent the line or the trunk from hitting the vehicle

Appreciate you reviewing an older vehicle like this! I’ve been in the market for awhile!
of course, I love doing it. I think they're still selling this at diamond auto in Alameda, California.

Wow 71k
I have a 2000 with 170 mi. i think it is one of the best buys I have ever made.
Very cool do you ever take it off road?
great review!
Thanks!
Immaculate condition for the year and miles
It was indeed the most expensive model of the Lexus lineup in 2004, slightly more expensive than LS430.
I have a 2004 RX330. Found it with 22,500 2 years ago. A great vehicle, like this one!
Very nice!
In terms of lifespan and reliability, would you trade a 2010 F150 king ranch 5.4 triton that has 175k miles for a 2004 lx470 with 115k miles?
Está perrón homy
Out dealers was selling from 92$
I don't think this one had the Mark Levinson system, that's why the sound didn't sound that great.
Agreed. My 05 with the Mark Levinson sound system has awesome sound especially for its age.
When you have the ride height set at high or low. It automatically goes back to neutral height as soon as you hit 35 mph.
great to know this
And when you hit 70mph it drops an inch
I have 2002 LX470 : 👌
i think somebody wants an LX470...
Hii..
Good job!
Thank you!
Keep doin' what you doin' (y)
$65, 000 is just the based price...with options and tax and fees.....$75,00]
So if that’s American $ it would have been $100,413.75 in Canadian dollars at todays exchange rate. But they hold their value better than most.
Diamond Auto Sales is a good place to buy good quality used cars..... the Russian owner is very easy to work with....
my friend purchased her FJ cruiser from there! Great maintenance records great car. dealership was very helpful
those tires are a SIN!!! on that truck !!...get 33" tires like a proper off-roader!!!

All used cars have been inflated for about a year now
@@JBurton393 Dude just say youre drinking the koolaid. No car over 20 years with over 100k miles is worth over $10k.
@dpatrick813 any toyota is worth more then any American car built its been known for over 20 years 🤷

@dpatrick813 my 95 has a basically rust free frame along with my 98 wouldn't touch any electric car it's a passion
HAH 16mpg. Spend some more time in it.
yeah, we all know. Realistically, it probably gets less because of age and maintenance.
You buy this SUV to plow through BLM protest
Haha, too bad.....mine is way better....mine is a 2006....best year to buy....
Not "way" better. Had the extra HP and LED lights though. That would make 2007 the best year to buy ;)
