After years of trying to get my private certificate family and work, finally after more than 10 years I got into a partnership on an archer in 2023 and on January 2024 I got my private pilot and on November 12th pass my instrument certificate, now I am working on my commercial certificate.
New subscriber, who after a long journey is starting the PPL journey in December 2025, thank you for the channel, looking forward to some good content!!
Congratulations on your achievements. And THANK YOU for your service in our military. I am sure you will be a great pilot and hope for a long wonderful career for you. I never went to school and when I finally got the courage, the years had passed me by. No way I could ever be a Comm Pilot now. I am almost 51. No jobs out there for new pilots in my age group. But I do hope for PPL sometime in the next 2yrs. Keep it high!
Thank you! Honestly you’ll never know if you don’t try. When I was younger I was always told the answer is always no unless you ask. My time in the military has taught me to make them tell you no…meaning apply for the thing you want and you never know what could happen.
@@flybraviation Very true. I have a start ride scheduled for the end of the month with a FI. Right now I am a full time realtor. Getting a PPL could be very helpful for me to travel to see clients, look for properties, or just get places in a fun way with my family. Don't think I will ever make it commercial. But as you said, you never know. I have always loved flying and a few yrs ago I flew a helicopter. It was exhilarating. Wishing you the absolute best!
I’ve come across a few people in real estate that have also been pilots and absolutely love flying. You’re never too old. Maybe you get your commercial and then fly corporate jets. That has always been interesting to be.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I just finished the script for the next video that I’ll start recording later in the week. This time I’ll be in the actual plane so stay tuned
@@Orphan-mh6db I believe anyone interested in flying should at least do a discovery flight. If you go on google and look for flight schools in your area any one of them should me able to offer you a discovery flight. I love bringing as many people as I can to the world of aviation.
Congratulations! Hard work always pays off!
Bravo Q!
