I’ve always done my half stitch from bottom left to top right. I feel like that is how many examples show it. I also seen it called tent stitch and have seen it that way in needlepoint. Not that it actually matters. Everyone should do it how they want and what looks best to them. My only issue would be if I didn’t get them all going the same direction. Then I’d have to pick them out 😁
Tent stitch is not the same as a half stitch. Tent stitch is doubled thread, like 4 strands for 14ct instead of 2. It's meant to fill out the canvas more, there half stitch is more of a touch of color.
makes sense. I have never worked in tent stitch though it would probably be a lot faster on some of the projects I do. I enjoy how full crosses look best @@NimCrafts
@TheTangledSkeinsCrafter I use it mostly for 18 and 16 count. It's honestly super fast for those sizes and you should for sure try it c: i have i think two or 3 stitch alongs where I use tent stitch.
Those kits were beautiful. I have been eyeing some sunflower kits myself. I love spring.
That red is killer in one of the cross stitch.. geeze. They are otherwise all great!! ❤❤❤
😁 I'm so excited all the time about new kits. Honestly, collecting them is more of a hobby than doing them at this point 😅
@@NimCrafts right?!
These are very nice options, and I agree the red was a little too much, but you will make it work.
One way or another 😅 better it be on a joy sunday than an 11ct, though
