There was no "labour shortage". Corporations will always say there's a shortage so that they can import cheap labour to exploit.
One of the few times I'll agree with NAFO.
Bloomberg wants us to give up our culture and identity to overseas for greed, bringing people here is goig to create massive divisions in society. I feel like the USA is more my home now.
no labour shortage..... living wage shortage
And, who will pay for these wages? Consumers? I as a lower middle class person already in deep $hit
@@vinvin4001 price gouging profiteers will pay what used to be common sense. 40 hours work earns you something approaching a life. if you refuse that for others dont cry me a river for yourself selfish
Canadian businesses might actually have to pay their workers a living wage? What a concept...
The problem is that businesses don't pay, consumers pay. Are we ready for more inflation? I as a lower middle class am already having hard time.
@@vinvin4001 Or they could do the unthinkable and cut executive compensation instead. Not all Canadian businesses even have the ability to raise prices. With consumers as tapped out as they are, higher prices can cause a significant amount of demand destruction.
We need to find the 100,000 who skipped deportation before more come in.
I guess that is the issue. What we have here are more of a burden than an asset. We need more skilled workers and not so called "refugees", khalistanis and jehadis.
Why the hell people keep saying that Canada is cutting back on immigration? 395,000 new people means 395,000 Canadians entering poverty.
Because it s people already in Canada that will become PR
Maybe they will start paying people a proper wage rather than relying on cheap imported labour.
nah, they'll just move to mecshitco
Are you sure?
I’m personally offended that Amazon won’t be able to hire @ a suppressed minimum wage. Honestly I think Amazon should have prima nocta rights over everyone
Sace this comment. Jobless will go beyond 8 percentage soon and no one would need immigration for next two year at least.
From an immigrants
You assume that all "immigrants" work for living.
Casual part time labor is not enough to live on so maybe companies will have to establish a full time workforce
Will they do that or move out?
labour supply? Lol.....High unemployment rate!!!!
The more people the more competition for jobs the less they get paid the more hours they get to work. Business loves having an oversupply of labour.
What makes you think that the kind of people jj (justin jagmeet) have imported work for living? The so called "refugees"? jehadis? khalistanis? .....
Not a damn thing - that is what it means. Didn't seem to have any issues 10 years ago.
Canada has dramatically changed in 10 years. Its present king needs so called "refugees", khalsitanis and jehadis to stay on the throne.
These shortages are a myth. Finding employment has always been challenging regardless of industry. Immigration is nothing more than a tool to keep labor costs low. Current government made matters much worse by going into an ideological overdrive with immigration becoming a "sacred cow" which one cannot and should not question on the pain of being labelled a right wing extremist and a racist.
Do you really believe that the kind of people jj (jagmeet justin) have imported work for living? I have my doubts.
@@vinvin4001 the issues of adaptability, integration and social cohesion is another discussion entirely.
How bout we have a growth of the young people who say than afford kids???
Thank goodness maybe my kids can find jobs now
Dont coun t on it. CEO will not take less money for a bonus. They will replace with AI soon. My small town, I swear got 50,000 immigrants dumped into it and I swear my whole street is full of people who want to live their rules and not follow leases as they dont understand. Now my plant is using temp workers because we have hit shortage with illnesses and they cant understand anything we are saying. That means us doing twice the work.
Are they educated?
The economy is crap. How many new employees can you possibly need?
Finally, we can buy a house! :)
Don't underestimate the greed if the corporations
Good point. And, we will build them. Right?
My question is why the thumbnail picture is London, UK financial district when the news is about Canada?
Canada need an immigration cap per country just like US does. I can see immigration is becoming a way to bolster vote banks here.
I would like to see the ratio of welfare people who could work. I dont think the numbers are there for tent cities. I could not work with the people anymore. Workers need more protections too. \Forcing part time and full time to work all weekends or nights is crazy. |There are some good bosses out there...not sure where they went.
American corporations will suffer badly like Amazon,Walmart and they might move their operations to Mexico or even China😂
And, that will happen. That is the problem.
Finally

I managed to grow a nest egg of around 120k to over a Million. I'm especially grateful to Adviser Ruth Ann Tsakonas, for her expertise and exposure to different areas of the market..
I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of
information can be a big hurdle. I've been
making more than $100k passively by just
investing through an advisor, and I don't have
to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my
finances remain secure. So I really don't blame
people who panic.
Without a doubt! Ruth Ann Tsakonas is a trader who goes above and beyond. she has an exceptional skill for analyzing market movements and spotting profitable opportunities. Her strategies are meticulously crafted based on thorough research and years of practical experience..
