I couldn't find this arrangement anywhere else and when I found this, I sent it to people who were playing this in my band so that we can hear what it sounds like with the choir. This is amazing
This is the song that I’m performing as a choir kid with my schools band and orchestra kids tomorrow (11-30-23) and my friend, a band kid, sent me this. IM SO EXCITED!!!
These songs and the movie itself always bring a smile to my face. Not because it's a Christmas movie. But because it show no matter how far away you live. Or how old you are that you can have a great bond. The greatest bond ever. Freindship and Family. So tell our family this holiday season to have a Happy Holidays. Happy Holidays every one
@@ScallywagBeowulf wait hold up half note is 165?! HOLY S@$T I Would not be able to so that. I might be able to do 120 at the most and THAT pisses me off when I'm trying to go with the quarter note.
Yeah sounds good for a winter arrangement for a jazz band but the whole chorus thing added along doesn't sit well with me I would re-upload the video without the vocals cause the song feels very based upon the vocals almost to much
Ughhhhhhhh I’m not saying everyone In band is like this but I’m sooooooo tired of band kids always shitting on choir kids for no good reason saying that we’re not good cuz “band is harder” like honestly get over yourselves.
Jhope is My hope the problem is we expected a band arrangement. I have nothing against choir, both require tremendous skill and lots of work. It just to feel like a choir arrangement with band in the background at parts, when this channel is for band arrangements.
Can you see this folks? The SATB Vocal parts from the SATB Octavo (which doubles as a Piano reduction score for ease of reading) are right in between the Saxophone Section & the High Brass Section. As you follow the Score, look very closely at how the Concert Band doubles the Voices. If you're arranging music for combined Choir, Band, & Strings (that is if you have a Choral arrangement of a Song & you want to make Concert Band & String Orchestra adaptations of it) the Concert Band & String Orchestra have to double the Voices so that they can sing in tune, & on beat more easily. You could also have the Piano play along w/ the Band & Orchestra (using the Piano part from the SATB Voicing since it's also a Reduction score) but according to those Octavios it's not really reccomended unless you're using an Electronic Keyboard or even so that CP-80 Electric Baby Grand Piano made by Yamaha.
I wish my band director would pick this but I'm in Band and Choir and it would mean that if I sing I would not be able to play the train whistle and if I play the whistle I would not be able to sing 😑😑
My band is playing this with the choir, but the orchestra is also joining in. They are going to be overpowered by us just because we can be so much louder than them. I feel bad for them
I played tuba for this in 10th grade. Then our band teacher left to be a vice principal at another school. And cheated on his wife w a secretary at said other school.
I wasn't expecting singing and all the sudden....
Same
Yes! Wow!
Ariana Asbury same lmao
You didn’t expect it but you were glad it was there
It threw me all the way off 😂

Our band is playing with the choir singing. I hope it sounds good

I love the movie so much. I'm going to have these songs stuck in my head forever.
@Yvette Ortega Yes Choir, Band, & Strings super cool.
oh yeah gosh this brings back so many memories
1:32 “Timmy is an average kid, that no one understands”
ayy the bass clarinet solo into the hot chocolate song tho
TheUberMedic ikr!! I play it😂
TheUberMedic can't forget about the tuba part!
What about those drums
well in the score, the bass clarinet part is more important.
shots fired ^
This brings back so many memories.. I’m totally going to watch Polar Express again
Watch now again🤪

YA THE EUPHONIUM SOLO
We’re playing this for our high school collage concert. Can’t wait!
This arrangement sounds awesome!
I remember doing this for my winter band/ chorus concert last year. I loved it
We played this for our winter concert and I gotta say the best part was soloing the trumpet believe part
If you put the Playback Speed in 1.25 speed it sounds like the original.
Bass Clarinet solo makes me have a heart attack because I’m the only bass clarinet :3
You will like it my school did it the last year
We'll have more bass clarinet players soon.
Bruh that's how I felt
Me too
🤜🏻🤛🏻
Ok but the Hot Chocolate section bops. Where's my (contra as well)bass clarinet/clarinet peeps?
Franky Henderson right here
Clarinet. I played this in my 2018 winter band and chorus concert
This is actually really sick what.
My band played this for a small Christmas concert for people getting gifts. We sped it up to like 165
That must have been rough
dogzisstoopid wumbo it was actually a lot of fun

Your exactly right and I'm in band so I don't love vocals

I think the problem is that these song just rely on vocals too much to be just instrumental
I’m doing this for a school concert

This sounds amazing! Our chorus is doing Believe and Hot Chocolate for our winter concert :)
This is so helpful because our middle school and high school band and choir are doing this in our concert tomorrow and I'm Trump 2 🎺
Our band is playing this 😱
One of the best movies ever
This was also the 1st song I learned on the Reed Organ
this just made me cry from them feels
I know something about the ballad just brings me back
SAME😭
We played this in 8th grade band and it makes me sad because I couldn’t play my instrument but I can actually play my instrument now
I’m playing this at my next concert
I love the movie so much

No love for seeing is believing 💔😐

Can you send me the music sheet, please?
I love this movie :D
I play bass clarinet and hot chocolate makes me want to disappear
I had this idea of an arrangement that was different & new, Choir w/ Marching Band accompaniment.
Our concert band is playing this
I saw the one on alfred and honestly this can't compare lol but i love this one thi
When you have a band concert and choir has to come to help them:
I wish my band director would pick this but I'm in Band and Choir and it would mean that if I sing I would not be able to play the train whistle and if I play the whistle I would not be able to sing 😑😑
For Winter Concert 2k17
Evan Mnich Productions do you play percussion? I do and I get to play bells, chimes, vibraphone, and xylophone! I love it so much
Bro I got so scared when it started singing
Only thing I don't love about this whole thing is being given a week to learn how to play drumset AND to play the set part for this.
Can you send me the music sheet, please?
@@trebujoselu I'm not sure if I even have to legal right to do so. Besides, the music is right there.
If you take the speed of the video up to 1.25 it sounds much more natural

my choir is singing this with the band and we can barely even hear ourselves during rehearsal. i cant even hear myself sometimes
my childhood ;-;
how can I get the full ensemble of this arrangement?
Ya have to pay m8
Can you send it to me, please?
I'm doing the main Male singing for it for our Christmas concert for our concert band
I play bass clarinet in this piece and I'm out of breath 😮💨
The bass clarinet part is the most important part in the whole song.
sadly yes
Emanuel Martinez nah chimes (that’s what I play) or train whistle (I’m in percussion choosing all the percussion instruments lol)
Nah
Actually that’s the tuba part
I played this in band
Can you send me the music sheet, please?

Looking for video that includes strings.....Our orchestra is playing this in community tree lighting
Who else played this in middle school? 😂
This is way too hard for middle school, how did you even manage that 😭
Does it include instrumental when purchased?
Yes. I did in it my school's winter concert in 2018 for band and chorus. I'm hoping of doing it again next year
I am here just for me playing Tuba in my band
We played this at the Christmas Market today.
I played tuba for this in 10th grade. Then our band teacher left to be a vice principal at another school. And cheated on his wife w a secretary at said other school.
1. The beginning sounds like someone is going to kill you and 2. TUBAS UNITE!!
I'm here, a tuba. Well more specific, sousaphone
1 is too true
Anyone play the bells? :)
i hate that my part is like one of the only solos on this music, the bass clarinet on hot chocolate😅
Our Christmas concert, we only play 100 bpm and it sounds weird.
I came for the instrumental NOT the singing.
Is there an orchestra part in this?
My bands playing this but faster and tuba pice is hella fun

Who else is a trombone that plays the train whistle part
you're all discriminating against bassoons lmao
