I just downloaded this. i like really like it. I like how he isn't afraid of using autotune on his trademark voice too. You wouldn't guess this was him if you heard it and nobody told you, I want him to do well. He's the underdog and he deserves some luck.

The way he sings, he’s good and that voice he’s got reminds me of T-Pain because if you think of T-Pain, he’s always had a voice like that ever since performing. How to do that voice is by putting a special machine in you which is like a tube or a talk box

Artistic use of autotune. It's supposed to be full on, bordering on robot.
That wasn't the point I was making
OK what was the point? You are being a bit vague. Is it sad that Brian has characterised his vocals with this effect? Or sad that the robotized vocal style has emerged? Or sad that people who can't sing can release records? If the last point then that's unrelated to this because this is an artistic use of the technology and is unrelated to Brians ability to hold his tone while singing.

I produced an early version of 'I can' for him...as a favour. Lost the passé 80/90s west coast vibe...straight piano, strings, organ and bvs and it was all about the vocal. Basically doing an 'adele' before she/that simple approach was back around. Sounded great and received great feedback before being remixed, messed up and shoving him on stage to sing it live before his diaphragm had recovered. Bad move. He got the looks and the voice .. but still he enjoyed fame and success only for a short time. Mainly because of his comments on the drug ecstacy. That was the beginning of the ruff times for him.
