As a long time Patriots fan (in NY) who had to suffer through the fan ridicule after each cheating scandal I have to say it doesn't bother me (surprising, right?). The reason it doesn't bother me is because you can take away three of his rings if you want to and he's still the GOAT. If you actually watched the Patriots you'd know how good those teams, particularly the defenses, actually were. I'm not condoning the cheating but I don't think they were the driving factor behind 100% of the success. Deflategate specifically though was nonsense. Considering that all the Brady haters will tell you it was the defenses that won the chips, what impact did deflating those balls really have? On top of that, they removed the deflated balls during that game and in the 2nd half the Patriots crushed the Colts, worse than in the 1st half when the balls were deflated. At best it was a comfort thing. Its hard for me to see a slightly deflated ball as the reason why a team won or lost. Is it cheating? Yes and they shouldn't have done it but the fact of the matter is that it didn't really matter. He came back from that suspension and, if I'm not mistaken, won another title that year. So if you're that upset by Deflategate you're just looking for another excuse to be mad at Brady and at the end of the day that anger doesn't take away any of those rings so 🤷🏾♂️

In light of the current story in the NFL, let's not forget that other than manning and Favre, all the best QBs when Known Cheater entered the NFL were black (culpepper, McNair, Vick, McNabb). And everyone complains about the Known Cheater's 4 game suspension. I would say that's a pretty light suspension for a team that got caught cheating twice.

As a long time Patriots fan (in NY) who had to suffer through the fan ridicule after each cheating scandal I have to say it doesn't bother me (surprising, right?). The reason it doesn't bother me is because you can take away three of his rings if you want to and he's still the GOAT. If you actually watched the Patriots you'd know how good those teams, particularly the defenses, actually were. I'm not condoning the cheating but I don't think they were the driving factor behind 100% of the success. Deflategate specifically though was nonsense.
Considering that all the Brady haters will tell you it was the defenses that won the chips, what impact did deflating those balls really have? On top of that, they removed the deflated balls during that game and in the 2nd half the Patriots crushed the Colts, worse than in the 1st half when the balls were deflated. At best it was a comfort thing. Its hard for me to see a slightly deflated ball as the reason why a team won or lost. Is it cheating? Yes and they shouldn't have done it but the fact of the matter is that it didn't really matter. He came back from that suspension and, if I'm not mistaken, won another title that year. So if you're that upset by Deflategate you're just looking for another excuse to be mad at Brady and at the end of the day that anger doesn't take away any of those rings so 🤷🏾♂️
