The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
As a contractor I need to ask.... Is the projected image not leveling automatically, or is your wall not perfectly level and plumb? Everything about this projector seems excellent for value but that keystoning will drive me crazy as well
I couldn't figure out what the issue was. But not having things straight drives me insane. I much prefer mounting projectors to the ceiling so you can perfectly adjust the screen and it holds that position. With portable projectors, the only solution I found that works is to use beer coasters to make quick adjustments if the auto leveling is off.
@@handyandymedia That's exactly my current solution in my set up... mine doesn't have horizontal correction and it has driven me crazy... my walls are 100% the issue because they're out of plumb but it would be nice to be able to correct for it in the unit
What kind of screen do you recommend for outdoor use with this projector? Also, i noticed that the outdoor screen of your neighbor was really large but you still had the projector really close. The image seemed undersized. Any reason you didn't place it farther back to take advantage of the large screen? Is there any kind of adjustable camera stand that can be used with it so your not chasing angle/height adjustments?
I didn't go all the way back because the image wasn't very bright the farther back you go. I recommend getting an outdoor ALR screen. No adjustable camera stand to my knowledge, I wish the legs were adjustable to fix that.
Thanks for detailed review. This projector has 10gb internal memory and I tried to use a usb but it’s format is totally different and seems like the usb can only used like it’s internal memory. So can you please advise what’s the actual use of internal memory and usb? How can o download something in usb and use it?

I want to have a projector that I can use outdoors mainly at night, but it needs to be able to project across my swimming pool, so in other words, the screen would be on one end, and the projector would be approximately 30ft.. Would this projector do the job? Thanks!
Hard to say. 30 feet is a long distance. The farther the distance, the larger the screen but the detail goes down. So it's hard to know unless you test it out in that condition.
Let me just add, that with quite acceptable compromise - in summer nights I am able to cast some 300 inches on my wall and it is still watchable :) KIDS LOVE IT!
I have the epson 1060 but am getting the ef12 because i need something more plug and play. How is the image difference between those two? I know the 1060 says its 3500 lumen and the ef12 1000
Great question, I can't remember if it has a tripod connector on the bottom. I do know BenQ portable projectors like the GV30 have it, as I'm currently reviewing that one and I saw it

You are not to bright...you can't do a projector review inside your home, without a projector screen. Stop using your wall as a screen. It dull your image, color and brightness. It like doing a tv review, with sunglasses on !!! Most people who buy a portable projector , also buy a portable projector screen to go with it !

Tape them to the wall and see which one you like 👍. Before you invest in the right projector screen. Don"t be cheap !! Besides projector screens have gain ratings. The projector you review is rated at a1000 lumes. If you get a projector screen that is rated at 1.5 gain. That projector becomes a 1500 lumes projector. For the size of the screen. A 1.3 gain would make that projector 1300 lumes. That will make that projector better for daytime viewing and night viewing. The brighter the picture, the bigger picture you can get !
Hi, great review. Is the projector image crisp and clear on all 4 corners. I saw your review and got convinced to get it. But my projector has the image blurry on top right side of the image. It’s sharp on all other corners though.. please share if you’re facing any other concerns with it?

I have the 1060 as well. Both look great at night, but the 1060 does way better in bright lit rooms. That's where the lumens make the difference.

Does this model have a digital zoom to make the screen smaller if you have to place the projector on a far back wall?
No, you have to move it around to get a certain size and then it will auto focus the screen from there.
