im on my fourth run already im actually obsessed with this 😵💫 if you wouldn't mind me giving you a suggestion, purely for your own consideration, would you do a saviors song in the insomniac style? i think the american dream is killing me in a 4/4 fast tempo like this song would be really interesting!
Estas versiones me hacen siempre tener una increíble sonrisa en mi rostro Gracias por hacer esto! No cabe la menor duda de que el espíritu de Green Day sigue vigente y que lo único que ha cambiado es la voz de Billie Joe ;(
YES! THIS WILL BE AMAZING!! Also why do i feel like you're St. Jimmy Stuff in disguise lol, I know they're the one mixing your mixes but I'm just saying haha, I think that this would fit better on Nimrod but St. Jimmy's Stuff can do that one! EDIT: This is such an improvement from Give Me Novacaine Insomniac mix, the accurate AI vocals (although Trilogy era Billie's inflections sometimes come through), the bass playing towards the end and the Stuck With Me clip in particular is awesome!
I honestly don’t use anything special haha DAW is Audacity. Drums are pulled straight from Insomniac tracks. My “Insomniac” guitar is my Behringer strat, I also use my Squier strat with a Seymour Duncan JB but it sounds a little too jangly for Insomniac. I’ll use it for Kerplunk stuff in the future. For pedals, I use the Dookie drive and Ibanez Tube Screamer.
@@silktongs I have another question, for your insomniac remixes, what hertz do you tune to? I know it's Eb, but it sounds a little sharp, so what hertz would it be? I'm trying to do guitar covers of your mixes.
For the vocals, St. Jimmy’s Stuff uses AI (idk how it works haha), and for the guitar, I have the MXR Dookie pedal and TS9 Tube Screamer. I use them both and they make a pretty good Insomniac tone after playing around with the settings for a bit. St. Jimmy’s Stuff then EQs the guitars while mixing making them sound even more accurate.

Uno =insomniac
Dos =warning
Tre =21st century breakdown
Dos = Stop Drop and Roll
This is so much better than I expected
Every song from the trilogy I’ve heard in insomniac mix sounds way better I would love an official mix released by the band of that
They could mix Uno like dookie, dos like insomniac, and tre like nimrod.
@@collinmoore2263 that’s brilliant.
Intro chord sounds like Stuck with me
I know right
Because it is.
Insomniac style is the best style
Agree! My favorite Green Day album!
This was freaking awesome!!!!
perfect

I promise you, we are two different people.
Hmmm.. maybe we should make a separate channel for these.. haha
I love these, can you do a 1039 version of when I come around?
What DAW and equipment do you use to record? Especially for the drums and guitar
I honestly don’t use anything special haha

What kind of bass did you use for this? The strings sound very heavy, especially during that break.
Sterling Stingray!

you’ve probably answered this but what do you use to make these like the voice and guitar tone and all that, this is perfect

@@silktongs thanks man these are so good like fr you got the tone down perfect imo. the insomniac mixes are always my favorite
how do you do these? cause you seem to have the correct drum sounds and guitar tones. i presume some parts are re recorded?
