For all the comments I’ve read about Louis sounding weak and looking tired. I would absolutely love to see you live your life in the public eye and loose one of your parents and then a few days later say you are still going to perform on the show that made you famous just because you’re mum wanted to. I completely agree with everything Simon says at the end of this performance. And I think Louis is the oldest of all his siblings so he had to be the strong one for his siblings. This is the only X factor celebrity performance that still to this day makes me cry. Louis I’ll forever love and respect you for doing this. He's such a fighter. I can't believe this song came out in 2017. I still listen to it now. Two of us was so emotional i cried the first time I heard it. Then I kept replaying it as I actually broke down. Losing my mom in 2015 was the worst thing to ever happen to me. Louis definitely knows how to put his feelings into songs. After the lyrics 'dying breath' he seemed to lose it a little, as far as holding himself together, but, honesty, it made the song so much better. Music is about feeling it, which is something Louis always does, and the stronger he feels it, the brighter he shines through. I've never been more proud of him.

I lost my mom in 2013. I wasn’t even able to speak at her funeral. I can not imagine performing on national television three days later. Louis is so incredibly strong.

I lost my Mom suddenly to a brain aneurysm when I was 26. So I know exactly how he was feeling. It is a HUGE thing that he was able to perform at all 3 days after he lost her and I thought he sang beautifully. Why are people so awful nowadays? I cant believe some of the comments. Sorry for your mum. :( My dad had the same kind of leukaemia as Joanna. But his fight, our fight lasted 10 months instead of 7 months. And we had a big hope that he would heal... :( And I can't imagine what it was like for Anne and Harry with the loss of Robin after two years of battle... :(

Watching this now is still really difficult. Seeing my idol all broken is heart breaking, but to see him on that stage performing so perfectly with the circumstances that he'd just been through makes me know that hell be my idol forever. 3:32 is the moment I start sobbing like a baby and can’t stop for the entire time he’s standing there. He’s the same age as me and just imagining living in a world without my mum makes me feel sick. Obviously it’s always terrible to lose your parents, no matter how old you are, but having to let your mum go in your twenties is just terrible - not to mention his siblings who were even younger. Watching him perform a few days after she passed away is one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever seen. Louis and his family have been through so much... I wish them nothing but the best for the future. They deserve every good thing life has to offer.

I have so, so much respect for this man. His mom passed away DAYS before this performance and he still managed to keep himself together and set down an amazing performance. Maybe he didn't sound as good as people would hope (I don't get at all why people are hating but oh well) but you could hear how high his emotions were during the performance. I lost my Mom suddenly to a brain aneurysm when I was 26. So I know exactly how he was feeling. It is a HUGE thing that he was able to perform at all 3 days after he lost her and I thought he sang beautifully. Why are people so awful nowadays? I cant believe some of the comments. You make your parents look like shit when you act like that. Wouldn't the world be a better place if everyone spread love instead of hate? Anyway, I love Louis. To anyone saying he sounded weak and untalented, you try being the oldest in your family, taken away from them to be in the public eye for five years and singing your heart out three days after your mother passed away and still giving the performance of your life.
3:32 is the moment I start sobbing like a baby and can’t stop for the entire time he’s standing there. He’s the same age as me and just imagining living in a world without my mum makes me feel sick. Obviously it’s always terrible to lose your parents, no matter how old you are, but having to let your mum go in your twenties is just terrible - not to mention his siblings who were even younger. Watching him perform a few days after she passed away is one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever seen. Louis and his family have been through so much... I wish them nothing but the best for the future. They deserve every good thing life has to offer.

I have so, so much respect for this man. His mom passed away DAYS before this performance and he still managed to keep himself together and set down an amazing performance. Maybe he didn't sound as good as people would hope (I don't get at all why people are hating but oh well) but you could hear how high his emotions were during the performance. Honestly I wouldn't be able to even leave my bed when this would happen to me, let alone get to perform for so mucg people. And many people won't be able to to that either.
Louis stole my heart forever and I know his mother couldn't be any more proud of her son. She raised a brave, honest, hardworking human with a good heart who deserves all the love and luck on the world 🥺❤️.
