This song is nice, I see in the comments that a lot of people dont think it's a Christian song, just think of it this way, this song is used to draw people in when they think, "oh this is nice music" they'll listen to other songs from that artist and before you know it they're listening to Christian music! This song may not be "fully" Christian but that doesn't mean God can't use it for his purposes
I liken people's criticisms to some christian music to someone reading you a love letter your boyfriend wrote you, with all the signs that it's him and he knows you, and you get mad because he didn't use your name once.
You know all life is made by God, and even if a song is about romance or heartbreak and is done with pure intention, it is still singing about the trials and blessings that God gives .so any song can glorify God .I mean even the sound of music is glorifying God because He made sound possible in the universe .

Silverfoxstudios I think she was saying that she getting so busy that she feels like it is getting too overwhelming and while this all is happening she forgot about her relationship with God and now she wants to give it to God and focus on Him and she wants to hear Him speaking to her. She couldn't hear very well because something was blocking it and now she wants to hear Him clearly. She wants God to help her and rescue her from all the overwhelming feelings. Thank you Riley I recently found your music on a Christian station Broken Prayers. This song and that are how I have been feeling anxiety, anger, fear, failure. Broken Prayers lead me to really REALLY talk to God the other night when I was at a breaking point. My work place is a trigger I am lucky to have an amazing husband who supports me but in the end Jesus Christ is the only one who can help you once you reach a point where you just want to say just put me on a mental hospital for a while so I don't have to make decisions anymore. So thank you I literally screamed and cried out loud to my Lord and it was so healing. Keep writing and singing its not just beautiful its life saving.

I went through anxiety in seventh grade right before covid and all I know is that through all of the noise God is still in control and he sees you. There is still a light if you believe and he will work the pain for your good. It is all part of his plan.

This song as of this Date, speaks to my situation. As a young person, and as an unemployed recent graduate, there are a lot of mental and emotional battles that I'm vulnerable to. All of which God has saved me from. What I'm trying to say is... DROP EVERYTHING as is the title of this song I believe speaks for itself. We're asked as God's children to DROP EVERYTHING, Come to Him and Listen!! Yes! Drop Everything just like Mary who chose to drop everything and sit at Jesus's feet to hear Him speak Compared to her sister Martha who was distracted with every other thing.
So DROP EVERYTHING and Go to Jesus! 😊

You don't need to have everything figure out (I have to preach this to myself all the time haha) -- because God will bring you where He wants you to be in order to fulfill His purposes for your life and to advance His Kingdom!
