Este es uno de los mejores arreglos en lo que a dueto de estas dos canciones se refiere, solo hay que arreglar el fondo musical y encontrar unas cantantes que se animen XD.
NOTA: Las partes a dueto tienen los tiempos de una sola voz, esa es la que en ese momento dure más, ya que si fuera cantada como tendría que ser debería ser de esa manera y al ser esta composición editada de dos canciones distintas es difícil el que ambas voces coincidan en tiempos.

This version of Luna's song makes since. We know that she was banished to the moon as Nightmare Moon, so I believe that the time she spent there was full if anger and hate, not the sadness and regret that most sing. Absolutely beautiful.

I feel like both make sense to me, with each version coming from a different aspect of Luna. The darker, anguished version from the nightmare side, and the sweeter sadder version from the more innocent Luna from beneath the armour.
@@ElfMaidWithInternet in my head cannon Luna sings her soliloquy when the pain of her banishment is still fresh. However, even in her soliloquy Luna has the line at the end "My pain grows, I can't know, are you still the same?" to me that sounds like she is holding onto her anger so she doesn't need to face her shame. Her reply on the other hand is sung in the later years of her banishment, when she fully accepts that what she did was wrong.
the reason why Luna's voice is like that because she is the princess of the night, her voice need to be dark, deep and majestic while Celestia is Bright/day high. Luna's voice sounds beautiful to me, Luna's voice is just how it is because she is the night princess 👸

On one side is Celestia ,who blames herself for Luna’s banishment and wants to see her again, and on the other side is Luna ,who tries to ignore the fact that she still cares for Celestia and is controlled by rage and jealousy. I love how these two are mixed.
I cannot stop to shed some tears to this perfect presentation on both Celestia's and Lunas past.
Its been years but im back to these vids, i still love how Luna's part still includes "and carry my sorrow in kind" while the rest is like PERFECTLY bittersweet, that one line is their common ground
This needs to be in an episode in season 5, where Celestia and Luna were remembering when Luna was still banished. It might give Celestia a better image, plus help us to see the events that happened from Luna's banishment to her release. It needs to happen. HASBRO, NOW!

the reason Lunas voice is how it is, is because she's Luna. She's the princess of the night, her voice is meant to sound shallow, deeper and dark for affect. It's for character, while Celestia is the princess of the sun/ day, bright, high and majestic.

After catching so many parodies and spoofs, I eventually caved and started bingeing just to see what the fuss was all about.
Gotta say, it's not bad. Good storytelling, character development. Kinda cheesy at points but it's directed towards a younger demographic, so what can you expect?
But this song is probably the best thing that I've found related to the show. Keep it on repeat at times when I just wanna feel something. 😅
ok the lullaby was great, I haven't heard the soliloquy before now. You add the soliloquy to the lullaby as a duet and I almost cried... its just so sad and compelling. You really feel for the sisters with their pain and sorrow. I so wish could get a recording of this duet.

This is, so far, the best representation of Luna during her banishment I have seen (or heard, as the case is). Well done.
I can't help but think of Dream and Nightmare sans when I hear this. It fits them well. Dream being Dia and Nightmare being Luna. Dream was adored by everyone while everyone hated Night for being the guardian of Negativity. Dream never noticed and Night tried to prove to them that he too could take care of the golden apples, but the apple corrupted once he touched it causing everyone to turn on him. He ate the apple in fear and became corrupted and turning into Nightmare.

When I'm listening to Luna, what I hear is her fighting with herself, I hear anger, but at the same time I hear forgiveness I know that's probably not what the true song ment, but I like my idea because I can relate to Luna so much

As everyone before me I agree that this is the most beautiful song that I have heard. Both people should have been given an award for great singing and lyrics. But most credit goes to Ponyphonic for being the first to make most of these songs. Not sure if Luna's reply and Luna's soliloquy were created by Ponyphonic since i can't find the vid for it on his/her account. Nonetheless, great duet involving the corrupted Luna' reply. And the other by Celestia. Least you have Lyrics.

I think hasbro need to make a comeback for us who adults we need a really story for this man. I really like this. I've seen other versions for Lunas reply and they are saying that she's sorry but in the show she came back as Nightmare Moon so she was probably Nightmare on the moon too so she probably wasn't sorry but in this she's still annoyed with what Tia did.
Then why did when Luna was back to her normal self she said in tears; "I'm so sorry! I missed you so much, big sister!" I guess when Luna was Nightmare Moon, she was balancing her evil side and her normal self.
+Queen Jinx Koopa It's because she was no longer Nightmare Moon. Because she no longer had the jealousy against her sister. And maybe though Luna became Nightmare Moon she was still able to see what she was doing but had no control .

Honestly I liked this version much better. Not that I don't love the sadness of Luna wanting her sisters forgiveness and maybe the other version is the part of luna that still exists within nightmare moon, but this more aggressive and angry Luna makes much more since especially after seeing the season 1 episodes where Luna is clearly still nightmare moon and very angry with her sister.
I think both songs might reflect Luna's torn state of mind. One side showing Luna's anger while the other wants to forgive and be with the sister she so deeply loves. Anyways theres my two since :3
