I agree Michael, the quad certainly did not sound like it was pulling well up top. I have an ESR310 with 215 head 38mm carb running on VPC12. Pulls the wheels up in 4th and would be happy to send you some GoPro footage if your interested. Awesome video tho. I am really enjoying your content. Thumbs up !
If you was only racing motocross or flat track or just playing in the sand i could see not running the air box but its more your running everything mostly trail ridding or even cross country you need the air box and the 250r still looks bad ass you can touch up the nerf bars remember its not a asphalt queen keep the cool videos coming and always remember WFO

Dude I cant wait to go riding at st clair again, I just got my first banshee about 2 months ago and have only been able to ride it around in the neighborhood a little bit so far, gonna rip up the trails once I end up buying a FRO permit
Would it be better to go non power valve for a set up like this? I don't know much about it tbh but I have heard from a few builders if they were to do the build over again they would go non power valve potentially.
I dont know why you had trouble with those tires Ive been running the same exact tire for about 15 yrs here in the az desert with not one issue and Ive even had it in mountain trails way worse than that. Keep those tires and carry a plug kit and compressor in you truck for when stuff like this happens.
Just 1 man with an opinion, but I dislike the american flags being on the heel guards since you basically end up putting your foot on the flag. Bike did come out nice though.

Stock air box is the way to go I don't run a lid trail ride all the time never got water in the carb
