Great to get free charcoal, I got three large bags full of compost, with pearl light and those clay balls in… two huge piles dumped in the woods. Thought it would be could to start seedlings in
@BeFree-BeFrugal I personally would use it for established seedlings, not as a seed starter. I have two beds growing my giant celery full of that material, in comparison to some beds without the clay balls. Good luck.
Hey Terry, the worms know where to get the good stuff 😉 I find the pile needs to be pretty moist to break down those horse nuggets. You're into next level microbe farming with all that charcoal! ~ Sandra
Hi Terry, oh my what a brew you have there, glad it's not near my kitchen windows😂but what a marvellous concoction for the worker worms and garden. ❤️For Mrs K
Best helpers a man could wish for and do so much good along the way. Well done to give the warning about Eggshell dust as it is a lung irritant.I am just glad we dont have smell o vision. Great video as always, best wishes Mike.
@sowgroweat6987 added some fish poo to my Perennial wheelie bin, where I have put my old strawberry plants, that should help with the rotting process. Have you any thoughts about Rhubarb leaves in a worm bin, been told they don't like them?
Nice to see it looks warmer over there Terry, your compost is amazing as always. Keep up the great videos always appreciated even if i cant copy half of what you do in my wee garden, it gives me joy watching your plots.
Brilliant vidio Terry, we are both doing similar with the worms & composting. Love the way you are now making biochar with the carbon from the filters. I also add the biochar into my wormery's now.
Hi Terry, from Windermere, Florida zone 9b USA 🪱❤️🪱 You know I love my Worms 🪱 Nice job getting the 🪱❤️🪱to help you with the turning process. Nice charcoal for purifying. Take care ❤Peggy❤ God Bless those unscrupulous cannabis growers😂
@RobinGardens I would never be able to turn that bin myself, it takes all my time to empty it........🤣, but what wonderful material to use around the allotments.
To my mind you seem to know plenty Terry! What a rich concoction you have mixed up there! I am off to my new plot today, just for an hour, to see what I will have to play with over the coming years and where might be the best places for a shed and a compost bin area😊. I hope Mrs K is alright ❤

the dust produced from your ground egg shells reminds me how bad the dust is from using perlite. a good reason to have a face mask handy..................brian
OMG Terry your wealth of knowledge is amazing and so inspiring to other gardeners. I’ve just been given a few small pallet collar beds for my new(ish) allotment and I’m in a panic wondering how to make them up. I want them neat and quite high like yours as I’ve got a bad back and struggle to bend but working out how/where to situate them is a challenge but a nice one to have I suppose. Hope your wife is doing ok.
@@terrykingsallotmentgardening awwww thank you so much. I’m getting so disheartened with it all but I think it’s the weather that’s putting a dampener on it for all us gardeners! It’s pouring it down again here today in Yorkshire! Thanks Terry.

Lol. 🤣🌱🌱🌱😎🪴 Excellent wizardry going on there 👍🪱🪱 In fact, they'll skip the cann abis and start smokin' your blend roar 🤣

@BobMelsimpleliving. the compost we buy here now Bob is awful so making our own is key for a good harvest without spending too much money.
Charcoal looks great Terry, a great ingredient for the compost. Worms have been turning my compost too. Im very proud of you Terry 😁💪👍👌🪱💕
@nickthegardener.1120 that means so much mate, thank you, will be adding some to the bin next week.
A great amount of worms to eventually turn those different ingredients of goodness into a very nutritious compost. Thanks Terry and take care
@sandram4526 my growing spaces are improving over time and seem to hold the moisture better now they are maturing.
