There has been a total divide in my family for the last 35 yrs. My son and his wife have destroyed my family with their jealous which is totally uncalled for I don't love any of my children and grandchildren any differently but she says I do so now he says so too. He has talked so very ugly to me and been so disrespectful to me through the years on a very regular basis I don't argue. God knows me and my heart but once again they have carried it over to 2024. This omelet, I swear I caught an aroma all the way to my house. This is a meal I could really enjoy. AND there is no better way to make the best toast, but in the oven. You talked about how much ham you had left over which made me think about scalloped potatoes and ham. When my mom made this dish she put it in the largest pot or casserole dish she had and put it in the oven to cook and while we played outside. We knew what she was cooking because we could smell it outside!!! Talk about delicious. Thanks for the memories.😊 I see you are wearing the beautiful necklace you received from your sister. My grandfather was from Louisiana and he used to raise & sale rabbit. When I was a little girl, he used to try to trick me and tell me that it was chicken, one day I fell for it, and when I went to go eat it, (smothered in brown gravy with rice and homemade buttermilk biscuits) it made a noise, yes, a noise! You should’ve seen me pushing back from the table, screaming, and running out of the kitchen!! 😂. I too have not eaten rabbit since I never understood how he could raise it. They were so cute and then sell them the next day, but he also did that with chickens. Old school. 😊

I’ve been ordering from Amazon recently and oh my goodness, the delicious! I’ve been very sick since early December. Hop will be free from Physical Therapy this week. Just can’t wait to get back at cooking. Oh, that precious Sous Cheff, what a beauty! She sure loves to make her homemade biscuits, especially cutting them out. Such a little beauty. Scrambled omelette still looks good and my mom would put 5 little pats of butter on the bread one in each corner and one in the center and put in the oven to cook I like my toast that way too and everything that you put in your omelette I like in mine. We have a whole turkey and ham in the freezer that we did not cook for Christmas, we had salmon instead. My son is going to smoke them this weekend for New Year. Weird, but I don't eat breakfast at home, only when we are on vacation.

My dad use to make skillet toast and that was really good but it has to be in a iron skillet your omelette look so good I won’t eat rabbit my self my husband raised rabbits they killed em I thank he gave em all to my uncle that helped with the killing he might of kept him one to cook but I was like your mom I also worked at night so he could of cooked him one he also went frog gigging one time right we find got married I told him he needed to take them to his mom well they ended spoiling cause I was not cooking them legs
