What Alaska, South Lake, and the Alps have in common?
Hello everyone! Today, we are going on a cruise, we will take a road trip, we will fly away, and we will be lifted up!
I travelled a lot to amazing places, but I experienced spiritual enlightenment and sublime peace visiting three heavenly places. The Majestic Swiss Alps, Alaska, and South Lake in Bishop, CA, where I felt connected to God in a special way.
So, let’s go on an adventure!

In Alaska, looking closely at the immense glaciers, I understood that worrying does not make any sense. The grandeur of the glaciers made me see the hand of God and realise that His splendour is beyond my imagination. Those moments come back with the same intensity when I meditate on God’s power.
Seeing a glimpse of God’s power through the immensity of His creation reinforces my faith and enriches my spiritual awareness of His love for me. It is always possible to live in harmony and encounter inner peace. My faith wavers sometimes, but God’s love never wavers. God is in control so I can have peace!
To get to South Lake in Bishop, CA, I had to take a short hike. Suddenly, I saw the full picture, like a painting of the lake that took my breath away. I thought I was at the entrance to heaven!
The celestial blue reflected in the lake, the stunning mountains, the intense green of the pine trees, and the aspen trees dressed in bright yellow made my creativity flow thinking about God's palette, as I admired a spectacular and authentic work of art right in front of me!
In the Alps, as I was gazing at the mountains with an earnest heart, my spirit was in awe! I could see its extension expanding to other countries until I lost sight of it. It showed me how infinite God is, assuring me that, seeing Him with the eyes of my heart, I will never lose sight of Him!!
I saw a gorgeous rainbow blessing my heart with God’s promises. The verses of the Bible in colorful paper also make a beautiful rainbow! They are God’s Colorful promises to us!
For me, a glimpse of the splendour and grandiosity of God can be shown through His creation whispering gentle messages of love to my heart. I felt protected, loved, and free! And real freedom to me means to live in harmony with God.
The feeling of living a moment in perfect harmony was so intense that every time my mind wonders without direction, I transport myself to those moments of complete trust, reading God’s word, which gives me confidence, and my heart reconnects feeling intense joy.
At this rotating restaurant, I learned a beautiful lesson. Life keeps moving around but we can have the same peaceful view in our hearts as we enjoy our hot chocolate!
A peaceful heart can hear God better. Sometimes He speaks loud and strong, like this loud waterfall, other times, He can whisper bringing a sweet message through the lovely humming of the hummingbird that I adore!
The tiny size of a hummingbird’s heart is as impressive as the size of a mountain, a glacier, or a lake, don’t you think? It was created by the same Mighty hand!
I guess the message is: “Don’t worry, trust, and be happy!"
