I was stationed in Oahu in the Navy and did some Uber driving on the side. I remember when I got closer to my transfer to Norfolk Virginia and this day I decided to go Uber early. I remember my request for my first ride that day popped up as Kevin. I was excited for my first fare of the day and I got to the pickup point naturally the app always takes you to the back of every spot. I called and said Kevin I am here but, I think I am in the back. He says yeah I saw you come on around back to the front. I get out to greet him and help him because he has some cases. I load up his cases and begin taking him to the Honolulu International airport. On the way we talked about all kinds of things well he says what kind of music do you listen to. I told him some classics from back in the day. He says I am in a band called Stick Figure. I think that is cool and we chat about music and being in a band. Well I did not even realize I just gave Kbong a ride to the airport so he can begin his next concert tour. I will remember that memory for the rest of my life. The day I meant Kbong from Stick Figure and did not even realize it. I like the band Stick Figure and their music makes me feel like no worries. Thank you Stick Figure for all the great music maybe one time I can make it to a show and tell Kbong this story I think he would dig it.

I remember seeing them in Long Beach at what I believe was the first time they played live. I was the only one wearing a stick figure shirt at the show. Group of Guys walked by me and said “nice shirt bud”,I replied thanks and kept wakking then I realized it was Scott and the band. Quickly turned and said “Hey you guys are Stick Figure” they laughed and said “yeah we are” Told them I was a big fan and kept on. Great stories to remember.
