  • Skarnsundet is a fantastic place for pollock fishing from the shore and boat. This short film demonstrates how to fish Pollock point which is a 15 min drive from Skarnsundet.

Looks nice to try in March with bigger gear. Take it it's opposite the landing on the same side as the digs up from shierlys

What is the size and keep limit of pollock in Norway? It’s 19 inches on this side of theAtlantic.

There is none, all pollock is fair game for anglers. altho the big ones are most fun to catch, the smal ones taste better.

We have a two week season for cod, 21 inches one per person. They are slowly making a come back. Sorry to hear they are struggling in Norway.

Scott Charlton Yeah, most cod in Norway come from «Lofoten», and there is a lot of plastic and pollution in the area where they live.

Corne our cod mostly comes from the great banks that were fairly cleaned out in the 80s and 90s but has slowly made a comeback.
