Hi, as I'm a beginner to knitting, I've really enjoyed learning this stitch today. You explain it so clearly and now, I'm going to make a lap sized blanket💯
Clear instructions, nice pattern, suitable for beginners! I tried this and the pattern came out alternate which was surprisingly pretty :) Might be because I have odd number of rows 🤔
Getting so inspired by your tutorials, thank you. How would I do this in the round please? I've made single colour mittens, but would like to try some in two colours, in this easy manner. Thank you.
I love your videos -- they are so clear and concise! Thank you for the excellent tutorial. (Also I love that you call your viewers "my little woolies" -- it's such a sweet touch!) If I wanted to knit this in the round, would I simply knit the alternate rows instead of purling? Are there any other changes? Thanks again!
I remember teaching myself to crochet with my left hand so I could teach my left handed friend. In a weird turn of events, it helped me learn how to hold my yard better while I'm knitting
Love this pattern and already try to make a headband with this pattern... but I don't know why it curled? I don't know where my mistake is. Anybody could assist me please?
@@sowoolly thx for your answer. I am soooo sad with my work that after around 15 cm length and it still curled, I stopped the knitting and unravel it.... Hiks... I love the pattern though. I'll try again with thicker wool. Hope it will be better.
I’m sorry to hear that! Please do me a favor: Before starting any kind of project, knit a swatch. This way you’ll see if you like the fabric, or if it curls, etc. 😉
This is beautiful!! I would like to use it in a cowl.....If I'm working the cowl in the round can I just knit every round? Of course following the colorwork repeats? Thank you for the lovely patterns...I've used many of your patterns after watching your videos.
Thank you Beverly! I haven’t tried it yet, but I suppose that’s right! Don’t forget to share the pics of your knit work, and tag me, so I can see them 😉 You’ll find me on Instagram as @sowoolly
Hello lovely lady. I make potato chip/ruffled scarves. And would like to change the color of the selvage stitches. Is there a way I can do that? Love your channel, you have helped me so much as a new knitter.
Thanks for sharing. I still don't get it yet: if total is 40, 1 line will be slip one and knit one, the next line is knit all, then will have 20. If continue so, the total would be 10...and so on. But you still have the same total amount... thanks again
Such a simple thing to do but gives a fabulous pattern - thank you 😊
Thank you for your lovely comment, Susan 🥰
This is actually how you would work a heel on a sock with one strand. . Its reinforced very sturdy and looks great. So easy too!!!
Really nice looking and so easy! Think I may try it for a baby blanket in pastel colours. Thank you! x
This is fabulous have often wondered how knit two consecutive colours so easy can't wait to knit my next sweater using this method you are wonderful.
Beautiful, easy and fast to do! I'm going to try this. Defenately!
Thank you!

Thank you for your support Jenny 🥰
What size needles did u use.
@wandahelms745 For the swatch in the picture I used 4 mm needles because it was made out of a fine Cashmere yarn (DK weight)
So pretty! And so easy. Thank you.

I haven’t tried it yet, but I suppose that changing the Purl rows for knit rounds will work 😉
@@sowoolly Thank you. I must be braver with what I try.
Beautiful

Lovely pattern,Could you follow this pattern if you wanted to do it in the round?
As a left handed person I find crocheting hard
I'm left-handed and crocheting mystifies me.
I remember teaching myself to crochet with my left hand so I could teach my left handed friend. In a weird turn of events, it helped me learn how to hold my yard better while I'm knitting
This is knitting, not crocheting.
Ok but this is knitting
This is knitting. I am left handed and cannot master crochet.
Will it curl if I make a scarf. Please let me know. Thank you.
It’s possible. I’d knit a swatch first 😉
Haven't tried yet but how does color A catch up to color B to be ready to knit? Interesting, double pointed needles is the trick? gonna try!
Love this pattern and already try to make a headband with this pattern... but I don't know why it curled? I don't know where my mistake is. Anybody could assist me please?
Hello Yohana! I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong. Some patterns curl, so you can block the headband once it’s finished 😉

Did u ever try this in the round?

What is the cast on you did at the start? It’s different to normal
It's the same long tail cast-on method, but it looks different because of the slipped stitches on row 1

Hello! I don’t understand what you mean. There are no decreases, so the initial number of stitches never change…
❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 ❤️ 😍 💖 love
I am knitting this and it is curling at the sides, how can I avoid that with the two colors?
Is it possible to knit this in the round?
Yeah just use circular needles or three double pointed

Is anyone else still confused on how you cast it off
After row 1, with wrong side facing, cast off.
