Someone brought up a good question: How long to leave the powder?
I'd say minimum 4 hours, but to really get the full effects, sprinkle the night before heading to bed and then sweep or vacuums from the back of the space to the front of the space, pushing all of the energy out. Then, just make sure you dispose of the powder leaving your front door, and either in the garbage outside or at a crossroad. Just don't put it in the grass, since it has salt in it!

Hi Olivia, not sure if someone has commented about the ribbons, the idea of putting ribbons in the aloe it is to draw the attention of the person visiting the house to the plant, and then the aloe would cleanse any ill from that person, specially useful for evil eye. Therefore the plant should be by the entrance or a place where it’s visible to all visits. Greetings!

Little tip! If you want to protect your space but don’t want to sprinkle anything all over your floor/windowsills, I personally like to keep little essential oil bottles, fill them, and put them in all the corners. I also line the inside of my windows once it’s opened and just keep it closed, but putting bottles on each end works too!
Thank you for this tip I was going to ask if the mixture could be sprinkled just outside the doors and windows because I am super careful paranoid about putting anything anywhere where my kitties can get in it

Smoky Quartz is my go to protection crystal. I usually have one under my pillow, at my altar, and on my nightstand. I do keep Tourmaline in both my windowsills though.
I only have one small room for my craft and I do as much of that as I can. It's always a very pleasant space to be in, and has such a beautiful aura. I can only imagine what it would be like to have your entire home feel like that.

My favorite way to cleanse my home is by using a song bowl. My baby brother loves it too, he always ask me to do it in his room to make the monsters go away.

Amazing to watch!! Really informed me of the space we can take as witches in society, as helpers in society. I've seen spiritual and magical peoples of other cultures set the space and offer guidance, cleansing, advice, banishments, but to see it so calmly and culturally done with settled pomp instead of fearful drama... for an American witch, loved. This was truly such a heartwarming and informative video. I typically just cleanse and clear my house with incense, candles, or palo santo wood. I really need to be more proactive to protecting my living space from negativity BEFORE it comes in rather than always having to cleanse it when the energies in the home seem off. I'm not too sure but I don't think bugs like salt very much,
I think they'd be much more attracted to sweet stuff! But honestly I'm sure that would be dependent on the type of insect.
Salt still might actually dehydrate some bugs.

Aloe vera is great to stop gossip and envy thrown your way if you put it in your front door. Another the funny thing is that what she mentioned of the red ribbons, in mexico you can buy them anywhere with ribbons included (sometimes of different color for different purposes). Home depot be jumping in the witchy trend

Hi Olivia! I'm a newby and discovering myself, I always use raw salt in the 4 corners of my house after cleaning, but after starting shadow work I've been feeling strange every night on my bed looks like someone is watching me lol! I try to not feel fear but sometimes I can't control yet.... Sorry I just needed to share with someone it's so lonely.... about the video can I use white salt instead of black?! I'm just could find online because here we don't have, at least not into my small town. I want to feel protected 😐 and protect my daughters

think i'm up against some really strong curse. I moved into a house turned duplex and the tenant d/s smokes pot in the house. There is a no smoking policy in the lease but he doesn't take it outside and when confronted by the LL he lies and tells him he doesn't smoke it in the house. I now have asthma because of his pot smoke migrating through the shared furnace (duct work). I am sick almost every night because of it. Before I moved in I made sure the LL knew about my allergies and said no one smokes in the house. I purchased some sweetgrass and tried smudging with good thoughts and I have my crystals on the windowsill by where his front door and porch is, but everytime I try to bring in happiness or work, I get sick from the smell of his pot. I am looking for another place to live but with the V going around there isn't a lot. The LL knows and has given him several warnings but he continues to do this, knowing full well he's making us sick. Is this a curse? What is this. I need some advice ☺. He's a horrid little man who's called me out once so I had to call the police on him and the town for his slander all because he's had to take his weed outside and smoke it away from the building. I have tried to be nice, respectful, patient but it's VERY unhealthy for us (me and my little boy). Got any ideas? Thanks in advance xoxo
