A whole financial video would be amazing! Budgeting and how yall are trying to spend less on areas you mentioned!
Yes I agree! I’ve begun budgeting more strictly recently but would love tips and tricks from a mom of a larger family than mine because we’re expanding our family soon so it would definitely be helpful to hear what she has to say!
I'd appreciate some videos about your childhood and how it impacted your motherhood journey! In terms of what you learned from your parents.
Yes, please do this! 🤑
What I’ve always liked of your videos is that you show your life with your family. A lot of family vlogs put so much emphasis on their children’s lives. I really enjoy that the channel is about you navigating being a mom and your journey making different foods from scratch.
I applaud you for your conscious decision to take down vlogs and to be more mindful when it comes to your kids privacy. I always loved your vlogs because of YOU, because YOU inspire me in the way that you live your life. So there's no need for me to see your kids. There are too many family vloggers out there that use their childrens vulnerable situations for vlogs. Good on you to protect yours!! I wish you and your family many blessings
💯 yes to this comment!!
I respect this decision, but will keep reminding I am the opposite. I've followed Delilah and many other moms that grew as mothers and that did show their children, but in a reasonable, respectable way, while staying relatable. Pretty much all of these people are reducing or completely eliminating child/family content and while it completely makes sense for them to do so to protect their children from the weirdos of the internet, it is what was most valuable for me. To see the messes, to see the chaos, to see the kids bickering a bit, to see some of the overwhelm at times, to see how a car looks after a drive, to see how you put conscious effort to stay calm and composed, to see the way you talk to your kids, how you spend time with them, what activities you do together - not the staged planned pinterest activities - the real daily little things to keep them occupied and learning.
I love Sarahs character and I respect her decision to stop showing her kids faces, but for me, cooking is an unappreciated chore and an unappreciated act of service at home, and I don't enjoy spending my free time on cooking content, of which there seems to be enough on the internet (though cooking for a big family is another fun aspect of it but still). So I simply no longer watch. The main moments I enjoy are those where I get to see any of her kids, even with their faces drawn over, just as the main highlight of this video for me was seeing Annie.
I wasn't a mom when the two of you (+ others) became moms, but it is something that made the irresponsible teen in me WANT to strive for, to become a loving mother of many children, you inspired me and I think more than ever our generation needs role models like you.
Reserving the children's content to only be on the exploitative click-baity channels further enforces the objectification of children, even in "loving" channels where they spoil their kids the children are treated like trophies and their success serves to fill the ego of the parents. What I believe we need more of is respectful parents showing how it's done.
Yes it's a paradox that I have no good answers for because all these respectful parents are reducing and removing their presence for clear reasons you all worry about but I am just saying I believe it's something our society desperately needs more of.
@@braria9855 I feel the same, honestly. Started watching Delilah as a teen, I just loved seeing their family dynamic and how she handled things. She showed me that I don't have to wait to be a mom until I'm 30 and have a successfull career, a big house and an expensive car.. that those things don't matter that much. That I can figure stuff out as they come my way.
Now that I am going to be a mom in a few months, I am longing for that kind of content, but she's not making it anymore sadly. I understand and respect her decision (because people out there can be so creepy), but it makes me watch her videos much less because I'm not that interested..
@@edinal.5404 Yep, the same holds for me! I both love the decision and dislike it :). But I'm really grateful for the videos I have seen of her in the past, they'll stick with me and help me along the way as I am now in that season she was in back then.
As an example, I vividly remember a video where she had put the two kids in time out and was herself hiding in a closet being SO done with the behaviour and needing a time-out herself. It showed me that real, loving mothers on their journey to become the best mom they can be can have those feelings, the feeling is okay, it's what you do with it. Hiding in a closet and regrouping is a VERY healthy way to deal with it! I'm finding that regrouping takes less and less time as I gain more practice. I also have often thought: well, things are rough, but I'm not hiding in a closet just yet! Offering perspective, a little chuckle and strenght for the coming few minutes to turn the situation around.
@@braria9855yes to all you said because that’s exactly how I feel too. You literally spoke my mind!
Do the budgeting video the next time you need a video idea! Or even all the snacks you make, that would be crazy fun to watch as well
I completely agree with the comments saying to do an in depth budgeting video because I would love to learn tips and tricks from a mom of a larger family than mine! And also would love to have a video of all your go to/quick and easy snacks for a large family!
The peace that overwhelms me anytime you upload is unreal ❤
It’s so real!!
I feel it too!!! Delilah’s videos make me relaxed and happy. This is the kind of job Delilah was met to do! Think the Lord led her to do this kind of work. Delilah EXCELLS in this type of work!
What you said about having 4 and then feeling like one is missing is exactly how I felt and feel with 4! It was crazy to hear you say that! My youngest is 16 months and since he was about 4 months old I had that “one is missing” feeling.
Loved the chatty video!
Do u think “the one is missing feeling”, I’d be because your unconscious mind is saying u will have another child, do THAT is why u are getting this feeling?? Hope u understand what I was trying to convey to u!! ( messed up on 2 of my words, but think u csn figure the right words out!!)
My wife and I always watch your videos together. She reminded us that today is "Leoppsky day". Woo-hoo!
My husband has slowly started to lean over and watch her videos more with me too 😂
You move through the kitchen so rhythmically 😊 it’s lovely to watch. Your family is so blessed!
It’s so interesting to me how different people are raised. I’m from Montana and everyone I know knows how to hunt and cut up their own meat. I’m so glad that Zach wants to get into hunting as it’s a great way to provide for your family!
I am so impressed how fluent you speak whithout any ehms while multitasking. Unreal skills there 😂
Can i just say that you’ve been my inspiration and motivation to be a better homemaker for my family🥰 i wouldnt be where I am today without your videos 🩷 Thank you so much for everything you do
My husband & I traveled out of state to buy a used truck in the exact trim & color we wanted. With the flight & hotels & gas driving back, we still saved thousands of dollars because the trucks in California are marked up so high. We made a long road trip out of it and visited some national parks and did sight seeing. Was super fun & so worth it.
A financial video with Zach would be so cool!
From Maine, hunting is a very common practice here. It’s an absolutely great thing to know how to do. It’s great to be able to go to the store and get your food, but it’s priceless to have the knowledge to get it no matter what happens!!
THESE are my favorite kind of videos!
Enjoyed this! It was fun to hear you say that, after having your fourth child, you almost feel like a fifth child should be there. I felt like that after our twins (babies four and five) and a few years later, that sixth child joined our family! 🥰
Good for you for deleting old vlogs! You’re right, the internet has changed so much 😢
You seem so much more at ease and happier overall. ❤️
Yes, she does!! Even more so, with this vlog!!
Phew!! The beeping at 16:45 totally got me😂😂😂 I had to pause and double check it wasn’t in my house.
Same! 😅
Me too!
My mom is the fifth of nine, and my grandpa tells the story of kneeling for family prayer before she was born and telling my grandma someone was missing. Four more came after her 😂
We have three and know a fourth is waiting and ready for us and possibly a fifth.
Thank you for sharing “trust in God” and how you’ve seen doors open because of it. We are beginning to see the blessings of heaven raining down after years of working in faith and several tears and prayers.
Thank you. I am praying for God's will for my brother who is getting treatment for lymphoma. I pray the Lord opens the door wide (DV) for complete recovery. Your will Lord be done & for your glory. I pray the Holy Spirit will flow through the tower block that he is in. How Lord you do this I leave it in your hands. (DV). 🙏
You seem much happier and more settled now than a year ago. It’s nice to see. ❤
Thanks for the encouragement re making things from scratch! I am just at the sourdough stage but wanna grow so much! Anything you can teach I am all ears. Especially as you can remember doing it wrong!!
you are such an awesome, inspiring, lovely woman/mama/wife/homemaker/etc. You are one of the few RUclipsr i follow and watch every videos. I love who you are as an individual and your vibes. Thanks for everything you are sharing to the world ❤
Oh Delilah ❤ you made my day thank you! You always encourage me as a Christian mama and I love when you share about how The LORD is working in your life ♥️🙏
I miss all the old videos but understand why u deleted
Joshua Weisman's chocolate chip cookie recipe is my go to! Its the best crunchy on the outside chewy on the inside cookie recipe that I have been able to find.
Those cookies look amazing! 😃Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Where are your aprons from ? I love them 🫶🏻
It really is freeing to not have a lot of stuff. That is really great your parents trained you well with finances. My mom did for me but my husband had no training for pretty much anything and everything, sadly. It has been a fun journey though and I feel like I trained my husband pretty well haha.
Loved listening to you as you baked.
I have always shared a bit about my children online, as I would maybe have family albums available for people to look at. Now that my older kids are 15 and 17, I have asked if they are upset that I had shared things of their lives on the blog I once had, the YT channel I had when they were younger, and now. They say they don't mind at all. I told them that if I ever try to film something that they don't want me to, I won't share it. One thing I don't share is stuff about my oldest's job, as I don't want people to follow him at work or something like that. My kids don't have social media at all. I think we have learned what to balance over time.
I live in BC and I would be so stoked to run into you guys!!! So cool
I loved this so much❤ thank you for blessing us with another video
I love your videos delilah youre like the mom friend i never had thank you for sharing
I use the better homes and gardens chocolate chip cookie recipe with an added about a tbsp-tbsp and a half of honey added to it (I just eyeball it)
I’m so distracted by how you’re making cookies. I’ve found great success in mixing flour, baking soda, and salt together. Then mixing butter, eggs, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Then you add sugars to the liquid bowl. Finally you slowly add the flour bowl into the wet bowl.
That order for ANY recipe results in beautiful cookies for me
can't wait for a video on how you make Kamboucha
I do the same thing!! Feeling like I'm missing a kid lol I have three and I have actually felt that way with every one of them. I guess that's how I know I'm not done lol
Thank you for this video ❤️
I'm so glad you're moving away from family vlogging. I found you when researching cloth diapering years ago. Now that motherhood is closer to reality, I'm happy to come back to your content about navigating motherhood without showing the kiddos lives.
Yes! Team buying vehicles secondhand! I would never ever everrrrrrr lease or buy a brand new vehicle. Our vehicle was $2000 and is amazing for us!
does anybody call them cars anymore? is it a canadian thing? 😂
The sad thing is, a new car costs the same as a used one nowadays....not much difference. We went with new because we didn't want to chance a used one breaking down, or needing more maintenance. Plus, with a new car we have a full power train warranty.
@@Erin_29 Hmm, we don’t find that at all! We have spent thousands of dollars less compared to my family members who lease new vehicles. Plus our insurance costs much less too with our older sedan. But I suppose it depends on the year, make, mileage, etc.
@@justathumb Maybe? I am also Canadian.. 🤣🤣
@@sweetlittlehomelingsI'm glad it works for you.😊
Hey Delilah or Helper,
could you pleeease do a video of zac, how he makes your smoked pizza or your burger,......?
We use only coal, but this doesnt work when it rains!
I'd like the convenience of it, too!
All the way from Holland i love youre video's so much. 😊🇱🇺
That’s GREAT, Holland!! I have a wonderful nephew who lives in Amsterdam!! He moved from middle USA to Holland about 8 or 10 yrs ago. Seems to love it there!! He is a teacher!
I love this style of video !! ^_^ Thanks for the news (and the cookies ;-)) !
glad to see you!
Loverly video as always! ❤
Please try Lisa on Boone sourdough chocolate chip cookie recipe… they are next level incredible. Best cookie I’ve ever made and the recipes batch makes a lot of cookies using a tablespoon amount of dough.
Snack video would be so fun! Maybe a financial journey video too!
Your hair looks so beautiful💞
So happy for y'all, congratulations! I was looking into a new Toyota Sequoia and they wanted me to pay over $1000 per month. No thank you.
Have you tried making brown sugar. I buy a big thing of molasses and of course big bulk of sugar and I make brown sugar myself.
My third will be 2 months soon and I also find myself looking to count 4 heads instead of three. I feel like there is one more for us ❤️
Love your videos, you have inspired me to start making more homemade items for my family. What color are your kitchen cabinets?
22:20 That feeling of someone missing is how I felt after we had our fourth. Then we got twins and I had that feeling once more after the twins. We just had our 7th child and now I feel like we are done. I’m almost 40 and had my kids in 8 years so my body is tired.
We just bought a Honda odyssey touring a few weeks ago! It’s the best!!!!
I loved this mom chat video so much! I totally agree we are in the middle of shopping for a “new to us” vehicle too.
Does this mean more thrifting videos?? 🙌🏼🙌🏼
I love that I can listen to this like a podcast 🤍
Where did you get the HUGE containers that your flour is in? I love them! Great video!
Love this style of video! Also what size is the scoop you use for the cookies? X
fridge your dough for a little bit xox
I totally eat floor cookies too 😂 I always say ooooh 5 min rule 🤗
Would love a video on finances. Also, love your content☺️.
Gurl, you gotta try NYT chocolate chip cookie
I had the exact same experience with thinking there was a child missing. We had 3 and were done but god had other plans and we are now expecting the missing number 4 😊
I had the feeling everytime with each of my 6 boys. My 7th child is a daughter. I am not looking anymore 😊
The sweet princess sitting there 🥹🥹🥹
That first question and the answer that followed was SO GOOD. Thank you. Honestly it’s so good to “lift the veil” so to speak when it comes to letting people really remember that we were never truly meant to do this life alone. (Low key my fan girl Self is a little sad I’m not really talking to THE DELILAH but I totally get it! Realistically OF COURSE you need help and what a way to offer a job opportunity. I think people get stuck in tv land not realizing how production works so it’s very eye opening getting some bts bits. The village bit was a reminder to be a good friend to those around you and to take a look at why Jesus wants us to love and help each other over expecting it from people. It just makes more sense. Just like everything God created to be good, can also be ruined easily when we become selfish and take advantage of people or have expectations for a village that suits only “me”. God provides a village you would never expect. I love these videos. It was good! Also your skin looks incredibly healthy. 😊
...to think u were so close- I live in White Rock!!!!!!
I just want to share a thought, if you were to move into a patreon type of platform, I would totally move over there! I know youtube has been a little crazy recently. Just wanted to share!
I had the sensation of missing a baby when I would count my children constantly until I got pregnant with my 4th baby. So that might be God's way of prompting you to your next child!
Also, here in Montana, we all garden, have animals, and hunt. It's a way of life! I hope more people get to experience it.
Pray on the finances video that is being requested. Sometimes well intentioned sharing has an opposite result.
I miss the talking videos and q&as and I wish we could get more vlogs.
Can't recommend the Claire cookies enough
Mmm I had my 2 kids exactly when you had your last two. I bet I'll have the 3rd when you have your 5th 😅🤣
oof Jesus😌 Yes God is so good! My husband and I are in the same situation and know full well that he will provide.
Hi Delilah, I love this video & you explaining questions, etc. There's something different about you. You are glowing & beautiful & alittle plump in your face. Is there a secret happening inside you? Im probably wrong. But I knew before you told us about Annabeth & I think each of the boys too! You already had Eloise when I started watching you! So, just in case, I said it first! I'm a mother of 4 & grandma of 14 & a great grandma of 3. So I do know a little about babies! LOL! Thanks so much for sharing this video! You are very happy, maybe about your new van. I have a Honda Accord, it's the deluxe one & we got a deal on it also. Newer than most of our cars. But it was still an older model. But we love it. Also, we sold a car where they came from up north close to the border of Canada to get our car & we're in Eastern Washington! So it was a ways to come to get it. We got a great deal & they got a great deal too! ♥️☺️🫂🐾🌹🦩🦉🍄🌷🦋✨️
you're coming back????? Any chance of meeting you?
I have to say that you are beautiful 😊
Am I the only one wondering how many cookies did that dough make? 🤣
I have an amazing chocolate chip cookie recipe I make almost every week if you want me to send it to you! I need to find a good peanut butter cookie recipe though🙈
❤❤❤❤❤
♥️🤍💙 I love how, you put your faith in God , and your not afraid to let the world know , God is so wonderful ❤️🤍💙

bonsoir a vous et merci pour tous vos partages moi je n ai aucunes aide de mes proches
What kind of van did she get?
A honda odessy.
🤎
Do u plan to have that 5th child?
Its wild to me that you're saying the Lord provides and to trust him because of a van when my friend just lost both of her parents at age 30 and I am bedridden with severe health issues. Must be easy when things go right in your life. God is not good and doesnt care.
things will get better in the futur. By then you can be able to see how God wanted you to experience hardships to find blessing from the healing. But right now, focus on taking care of yourself and your friend, life can't be always smooth and it does sucks but focus on self care as you deserve it 💕 when you heal, it is up to you if you wanna ackowledge beauty in the world like the above would want you to feel. I've seen the worst of humanity, trust what I say xxxxxx
💕🌸💜
1st!
Just had my 3rd in February, I also to have been looking for a missing head 🤣🤣🩷
Everytime it happens, it still amazes me how the Lord provides and things fall right into place! Thanks for reminding me to practice patience and the Lord works in his time!😊🤎
Sounds like the shop was the one messing up your van so you’d go back? 👀 either way congrats on the new vehicle!
You are so blessed that you have your family living close by. My inlaws live close by, but unfortunately they dont ever help us. My parents live an hour and 30 away so it's so tough to see them. During postpartum, I would have benefited to having my mom closer. I am thankful that my husband works so hard to provide, he often doesn't get home until later most days. God always has and will provide though!
❤❤
I love the longer videos. Thanks so much. I don't relate to your life in any way, expect for being a believer, but I adore your vids.
Hello Delilah! Thank you for being such a blessing and encouragement to me! You have changed so much in the way I view my home making life and I am very grateful!
your videos bless me so much ! thankful for your sweet biblical example
I'm a single mom and have 1 child... And that's already expensive..
I'm in South Africa... So it's all different, but also the same as everything costs money.
I can't even afford to buy a house as your mortgage isn't allowed to be more than 1/3 of your salary.. Which is obviously easier when you have a partner if you want to buy one together.
I would love a financial video.
I'm trying to save money, I'm just not getting anywhere 🤦🏻♀️
I love when the cookie dough fell on the ground, you shamelessly popped it in your mouth. I would have done the exactly same thing. lol!
I live in SK! Your husband and my boyfriend should become friends and he can teach him to hunt! We are very lucky to have deer meat almost every year 😊
Bună🤗
