- Here is a short and sweet guide/example kills of a Max Budget Nex kill, with a slow painful kill and a smooth sailing kill. After defense changes, Nex is now giga weak to ZCB, and VW in the bin. ZCB is 9% better than T-bow now, so whenever you range Nex, you ZCB. T-Bow is for the minions.

how good is the nex nostalgia plugin we gotta commission someone to do voice lines for all the bosses with text dialogue like vetion and verzik so we can make a voice over plugin for them, I can just imagine Vetion with some skeletor ass sounding voice and Verzik would sound like ursula from the little mermaid because her model is basically ursula from the little mermaid except spider instead of squid

@@GTD22 hell yeah! You mean the chanting ghosts or the doggo sounds? The doggo sounds could probably be ripped from rs3 like the nex sounds were but yeah someone would have to get creative for the ghostly chants haha

is stalling on p2 melee worth it if you're duo ? and is it different if you're duo in bandos ? in trios it seems pretty good just because 2 ppl are still hitting while you stall
Absolutely not. It's giga trolling. Stalling wastes so much time and doesn't even get you more DPS. It's straight sabotage.
One thing I've been doing is bringing a menaphite remedy inside which is especially nice p4 when ur spamming brew when nex is targeting you. Could possibly result in more dps and also let's you not overrestore your prayer wasting prayer.
Oh yeah also it turns divine timers into normal timers so if you drink it at like 5s on your divine timer it won't drain your stats so it could potentially result in saving 2 doses of potions.
Not worth in a duo
You could do this in teams but it's not worth at all in duo wasting a slot on it
@@GnomonkeyRS Tbh id replace the second ranging potion for one since remedy has the possibility of saving a dose anyways but yeah i could see why not in duo

The bandos wearer is going to get big smacked. Up to you. I didn't do MP2 until Phaspher had full Torva
Ive seen people mp2 w bandos, whats your thoughts on that? And i must ask the forbidden, what about justi for budget people?

Depends on the situation. If brewing then ACB would be better, most of the other time Tbow would be better.
Rune crossbow is better on Nex now. You use crossbows. Still bring tbow for minions/reavers

What does “Max Budget” mean? Sounds contradictory
Budget: an estimate of income and expenditure for a set period of time.
But, there are multiple setups for max and I explain them here and in the Discord setups FAQ.

I can't help but feel like it's bad advice to tell people to run 7 brews into a duo. People kill nex for money/drops primarily and I think that an extra brew is going to result in better drops/hr for nearly everyone. In the first kill you get punished for taking 7b just because of bad rng, if you had made any major mistakes the kill would have been screwed. I don't believe the 2nd range pot or pegs are going to make up the time lost to flinching/leaving kills realistically, especially considering how little you actually bolt nex with mp2. It was good you got to demonstrate the flinching though, it's a nice tactic if you are out.
This is a MAX guide. You most definitely should be doing duos in Max with 7 brew, considering Torva is = 2 brew totaling you 9. You are doing mechanics wrong if that is not enough. Phaspher my duo also does an alternate max build which I mentioned, and takes full torva and 8 brew. If you are learning then my other guide is much better, and in Discord we have multiple variations of budget setups with more learner friendly gear/brew variations. We leave a kill 1/500 times.
@@GnomonkeyRS Ok I rewatched the gear section of the video and I think you do properly cover downgrades in switches, which I hadn't given you credit for. Although the implication that you should bank torva and keep pegs/mask while learning is silly. That's a nitpick though. I just fundamentally disagree with running an inventory that has low margin for error when doing content for money. Even assuming that you don't make large mistakes ever (which isn't realistic for most people) you could simply get a bad tick or lag when you're resetting during p2 and get lawnmowered for a brew. I don't think it takes away from the video that you're running a max eff setup when the other setups you can run are addressed though

@@GnomonkeyRS "Max" is all you'd need to write really at that point. Take criticism of your titles without just being condescending. "BiS Nex Guide" or something is simlper and more common language than saying "max budget"
There's two different max set ups I mention in the guide AND the discord has a few variations. Title is fine. BiS Nex guide doesn't give you any information on what's being used and BiS for what? Learners? Gear? Strat?
