I have watched nearly all the sessions for Capture One 20 and I have found them incredibly helpful. I now have an decent grasp of the tools in the color and exposure tab and am able to get what I want out of an image. Thank you! I would really love to know more about the tools available in the Lens and Details tabs though. I have been reading the help pages but I think some video examples would illustrate their utility better.

Thank you for another great one!
Every time I watch your tutorial about a subject I think I know, I unexpectedly learn new tricks and approaches!
Speaking of the HDR Tool, I know that it works differently compared to one in Lightroom, but still, I also find that I would occasionally like to adjust the Black, White, Shadows and Highlights more dramatically than the sliders allow. Is it possible to add more range to the sliders in a next version of Capture One? Say, they could go all the way from -200 to 200.
And since these sliders work differently compared to Lightroom anyways, which makes sense, as Capture One has Levels to adjust black and white point, I think it would be more logical to arrange them in an order of the part of histogram they affect:
    - Whites
    - Highlights
    - Shadows
    - Blacks
Note, how I suggest Blacks and Whites instead of Black and White. This is because they adjust not just black and white point, but a range of tones around black and around white.

David - always enjoy your webinars. I would like to see how to move a catalog + pics from a PC to a Mac and from a Mac to a PC. Did it once & I’m sure there was a more efficient way of doing it than the way I did it. Many thanks.

Great job today again. Would like to see in detail how to use C1 in conection with other programms like affinity or luminar, outwards and inwards. Have also problems with the different healing tools. Thanks in advance.

I would love to see Muse and Mirror do a webinar about their COP Styles, their shooting philosophy, and their post-processing with COP. Thanks

Great webinar. Maybe you can make a webinar by editing some photos of landscapes with sunrises or sunsets.

Some tutorials about presets/styles etc and the differences between C1 and LR presets would be helpful. I'd like info about how they can be organised for quick access - my first experiments seem to end up with styles nested three or so steps down a menu tree. Can they be accessed more quickly? Thoughts about "translating" LR presets into something relatively similar in C1 might be good too.

Regarding difference between Brightness and Exposure, for the ones who know how the math behind the colour transformations work, Exposure is multiplication by a number in linear space, before the gamma curve is applied, and Brightness is addition of a number. Brightness doesn't seem to be a simple addition while looking at the histogram at a first glance, because a gamma curve is applied to the result before building the histogram.
Exposure and Brightness are two most natural ways to correct tones of an image in a linear non-destructive manner: Exposure affects brighter tones more than darker ones and Brightness, on the other hand, affects the darker tones more than brighter ones.
These terms are borrowed from visual effects compositing software, namely Blackmagic Fusion.

Would like to see a "repair" masterclass to see the absolute limit of C1 in terms of re-touch / repair. C1 are always very coy about it not being a pixel editor (and I get that) - and whilst I wait for C1 to be able to produce frequency separation mask on a layer (dream on), it would be great to explore the limits of what is possible without the need for the dreaded 'round trip' - it's just a faff, takes up more disk space and I personally avoid it whan I can. Would be great to see if spot removal can be used in ways i haven't seen before, or equally clone & repair (with its equally stupid single vector sample location per layer :( )

Another great tutorial. Let me ask you a tutorial, I'm searching but until now not found nothing about how to create script to CO1, could please make a video telling more about scripts ? Thank you for sharing.

I believe Scripts are an Apple OS thing that can be used inside COP.

It would be nice if you still attached files to the RAW lessons on the cloud service, then you could train to process them.

I have just switched to C1after being a LR user for 10+ years.
The main thing I am missing is the option to merge HDR raw files, I know there are several HDR merge plugins available, but as far as I know, none of them let you save the merged image as a DNG or other RAW file format, losing the RAW benefits when bringing the merged image back into C1.
I was wondering whether you have any thoughts on this and how you handle the lack of HDR merge in C1.

Hi David, I've switched from LR to C1 recently and I'm having issues with viewing the files for culling and editing and going from various modes and back. Can you tell me how you go from showing a screen full of items to a single image to turning off the right panel for editing? I've done the 'G' key and that only takes me from viewer to browser.
So the HDR Merge is not about using 3 or more images to merge into 1 with a higher dynamic range?
