Live in Atlanta or visiting? Sope Creek MTB Bike Trails are located right on the perimeter (285). You can put in 20 miles in 2hrs. These fast, scenic, flowy trails are easy to lap over and over again.
While you do have to pay $5 to bike here (better than a ticket), it is well worth it.
If you have biked here recently, tell me what you think about the trail refresh in the comments below. REI have done a great job with the signage as well.
Bring a sandwich and enjoy the cool breeze coming off the large Chattahoochee River. This the the perfect trail to ride in the morning, during your lunch hour, after work, or weekends.

At what speed were you traveling on those trails? Looks fast!
About 16-18mph thru the whoopties. 21.7mph on the open downhills. Not that fast, but there are people out there. Not trying to break records but now that I started using Strava, I might. :)

@@arondale I think when I am on the bike, I focus so much on the ride that I fail to notice the surroundings. This video gives me the chance to do that. Nice drone work btw!
@@gtheorycollege Cool! I'm going to capture it CW next so see how different it rides. The upper loop is the most fun part of the trail.
