These new features are great and as a patreon member the future is definitely looking good
❤
When you find out what their dna is are you going to release it?
I would definitely like to see this as a regular feature.
This is just great! The more programs and news, the better! I too, had I known how fascinating is history and archaeology, would have chosen to become an archaeologist. Tanks to you all, I can do it vicariously here in Wisconsin, USA. Thanks ever so much to you Time Team folks! I’m proud to be a patron.
Thanks Dani, all these years I’ve been watching Time Team from Australia, i still can’t get enough of you guys. Thanks for nearly thirty years of enjoyment. 👍🏻
TT just keeps getting better!
This is exciting news!
I love this! Being in the States, we don't have all the amazing things Time Team shows us. I became a TT junkie about 2 years ago and binged the crap out of the original series, sometimes staying up literarily all night to watch! I hadn't realized archeology could be so exciting! Thank you, Time Team, for showing me otherwise! ❤
I got hooked on Time Team in the early 2000's when History International aired them here in the States. When Hint went off the air I was forced to search the internet for more episodes. Yes, I ended up bootlegging them.
A lovely and worthy inclusion into the broadening Time Team experience! 😊
I love this stuff. This is why I am subscribed on Patreon and will continue to support for as long as I can. This is our culture and it must be uncovered, preserved, and presented to the people. The benefits that comes from knowing where you come from, historically speaking, is great for one's persona.
Me too! So proud to have been a Patreon right from the start of the reboot - and it’s so cheap! So much more is shared with us than what is on the Time Team Official RUclips channel.
The new-guard has found it's footing now. "Welcome home Time Team. Live long, and prosper". The legend that is Time team is in extraordinarily good hands. History is honoured by you.
I always enjoy Dani's presentation style. This will be a favorite series, thanks!!
Dani!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Always a blast to see you. You have always been a favorite of mine.
Time Team sometimes makes me wish I had picked archaeology instead of history to study.
I'm looking forward to this new feature!
Depends if you want to sit in a warm library or a wet field!
@@uingaeoc3905 Both 😂
😂 me too. The 1st book I bought for myself at 8yrs old was about archaeology.
Look up digventures. It's basically archaeology as tourism. Last I heard it was being run by none other than good old Raksha Dave, but that could be wrong. Anyways do look them up they're well worth a look.
It’s never too late :)
I love love love seeing Sir Tony back on The Time Team
I am so thrilled to see this! I'm in a very slow recovery from surgery and have been bingeing on TT and glad to support on Patreon.
Absolutely loved this new monthly program and am looking forward to seeing more in the future.
This is awesome! 😃
What a great update series, you are getting to the main point of how to keep everyone updated on what’s happening
Thanks for making this a regular feature, that’s great news!
I’m amazed by the sword and the little bird, and the craftsmanship which must have gone into making these stunning pieces.
Excellent first regular episode of this, Dani. Thank you.
Thanks for email notice early enough to watch. Here in Washington State USA it will be at 11am Saturday.
Hello Didi-Cat, I am in Washington state too. Nice to meet another US TT lover!
I have been watching Time Team from it’s predecessor programme, featuring a very handsome Phil Harding showing how to nap flint like our ancestors. And have looked forward to, and enjoyed, every episode since. There has never been one that disappointed.
A monthly round up of archeological workings would be a joy, especially with the inclusion of what is happening in other countries. We are so lucky in this country to have such a wealth of history, but we need to remember other countries do as well - and we can learn from this.
I am really grateful to all the team for their input into making our history a lived experience for the viewer.
I'm in Oregon.....counting the minutes......
Thank you, Dani! I appreciate the Time Team News addition.
This is an excellent format.. There's so many "click bait" YT channels exploiting me and old questionable findings and theories, that frustrates me. Please produce more of this!
This is exactly the sort of thing I didn't know I needed! It's so easy to assume everything that could be found has already been uncovered. Growing up, we'd only hear about discoveries months or years after they'd been excavated and production had wrapped on the corresponding television programme for History or Discovery channel, which indeed would be quite interesting, but admittedly made it difficult to get excited about new finds we didn't know existed unless we held specific magazine subscriptions. The prospect of a well produced, regular recap of recent finds and proposed theories in the field of archaeology is very exciting.
Love the series so far. Thanks.
What a great idea to make a news channel😊
Love this feature. I appreciate the variety and clear explanations. Thanks Dani!
PS I love your "set."
Please, please, please keep this up I am fascinated!
Thank you from Denmark
Please make this a regular feature, love the observations around the world and seeing her. Doesn't the Bronze age sword look like it would be very comfortable in the hand. Has just a familiar look and feel, almost as if you could pick it up and head out... it may be ceremonial, but it is the exact shape of what was used for battle... plus, I think, the beauty and craftsmanship of it and the other finds tells us more about the folks than we think it does. Thanks for creating and doing this. Fair winds and calm seas. mjb
Dani just keeps looking younger everytime a new episode comes on....
Oh please do go on with these episodes! Really good to hear about world wide news regarding archaeology!
Cheers, Dani and Co. This is a great addition to Time Team content.
As an archaeologist from Germany, unfortunately not working as such, I appreciate this formate highly. Watching time team for many years and following the amazing story of mankind development throughout the centuries, this is the cream topper. Thank you so much!
What a fantastic report.
Thank you Time Team 🎉
A brilliant addition to the time team. Very glad tosee you doing this.
I love Dani's enthusiasm and she presents the information so well. Please keep it up - also great to see the broader archaeological world mentioned.
So glad I became a Patreon to support this work.
It's great to see Miles again and I'm looking forward to seeing the next show!
LOVE this as a new regular feature of the channel, and that the news is worldwide ❤. So great to see more of the lovely Dani too!!
Fantastic programs. Love Time Team.
I miss the regular Time Team episodes. Geez, I loved that show.
Thanks Dani.
Absolutely wonderful!! Thank you, Dani and the rest of Time Team!

Thank you so much for putting this on youtube. I've been rationing the old shows and i just found the new ones.❤
I love love love this feature! There are always finds, so good to get new discoveries from around the world. I learn so much!!
Brilliant idea guys can't ever have enough time team in my life, keep it coming 👍
A brilliant addition to the Time Team lexicon, thank you for this new venture.
These stories are so exciting! Thank you so much for making this a monthly feature.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, next week, DEREK! 🥳🍺
Thank you all.
Dani is the perfect host for this feature! Thanks, TT!
Thank you for listening to us!
I am just so proud of the continued evolution of time team. You guys are doing so well. Thank all the patrons and all the various people involved in the show!
hi danni , this is a great idea ,, time team news is perfect ,alot more interesting than a tabloid newspaper, great to see you too x
This is a great feature! Dani Wootton is a wonderful presenter,. The reconstructions of the artifacts you provide are really appreciated!
Love the global nature of this. As a Time Team loving Brit living in Japan for the past 17years, it's always been a dream of mine to see Time Team widen its scope. Great stuff.
Wonderful addition to your line-up, and more bang for my buck as a Paetreon! 💥👏👏👏
Short, but full of good things! Keep it going! We are still patreon patrons!!
This is a great idea Time Team. As an ardent Time Team watcher from the beginning I'll definitely be watching out for future news shows.
Congrats to Dani and the team on this new News show. I’m really proud to be a Patreon, supporting archaeology in Britain and assisting in making this free content available.
I hope this can stay as a regular feature. On top of the fantastic new episodes, now there are features like this to appreciate. TT just gets better and better. Proud to support you on Patreon!
Love your free content -- Time Team is an institution (even on this side of the pond!) -- have you been negotiating with Uncle Phil to make a guest appearance?
What a great new feature! Thank you, thank you!
This is an informative and engaging update. Would love to see more like this. Thank you timeteam!
The youtube algorithm gods will be pleased by the regular high quality content! So will I!
I will joyfully watch more shows like these! Thank you so much. Yes, more, please.
This is a great news feature. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Crickey, I have been watching for a long time. I remember when Miles' hair was dark! Thank you for all these years of great education!
You truly cram a lot into these segments. And incredible finds !! Love from America.
When I was a boy I dreamed of becoming an archeologist when I grew up. Now that I'm a relic, I can live vicariously through Time Team. 👍👍
Really enjoyed this feature and agree that it is great that it has been turned into a regular show. As one needing closed captioning, I do so appreciate Dani's clear pronunciation. It's still not transcribed perfectly (and definitely lacking in punctuation) ....but is so much better than the norm.
Thank you to Dani and the TT team. I'm looking forward to this monthly dose of TT.
Well done Dani … love your work and this is a definate yes 🇬🇧🏴⚔️
This format as a regular feature is a great idea. I hope in future episodes to see more archaeology news from Asia and the Americas.
Time Team kept me entertained through Covid lock downs here in the USA. I just found this new site! Can't wait to see the new videos. Can you please do some shows on new finds in JAMESTOWN, VA? They are digging up new skeletons, and other things. Also, can you do a show on the COPPER CULTURE that was here in the Michigan Keweenaw Peninsula area? Huge amounts of raw pure copper came out of this area. The MOUND BUILDERS buried many beautiful artifacts made from this copper. Also, several years back Toni Robinson came to Montana for dinosaur digs, but he didn't make it to the GREEN RIVER FORMATION in KEMMERER, WYOMIING to dig up fantastic FOSSIL FISH! They have also found the fossilized bones of the very early "dawn horse" in with the fish fossils. Keep up the great work! I love this sort of thing.
Very well presented, l love Time Team🤩👍🏼Greetings from Salzburg 🇦🇹😘
Really enjoyed this video, keep them coming, and I’ll keep watching!
All the best Jules 👍
Wow, a number of very interesting locations and items. I really look forward to hearing more.
This is a wonderful addition to Time Team offerings.A little like The Prehistory Guys format with their updates.
Saw this and thought; "oh yeah, those were really good." Glad to see I wasn't alone it that and hope to see these more; it's fun to have commentary & context from familiar faces, rather than nearly-anonymous testimonials in news articles.
Would also like to see a discussion on the recent innovations in GPR if that's deemed to be timely & relevant.
Very interesting information. Thanks Dani! I'm looking forward to seeing more of these reports.
Love this new feature.
Well done Dani, well done! I had read about the Närdlingen sword a few weeks ago. They had that picture of it in the ground which blew me away with how beautiful it looked. I thought the green of the hilt was the actual original color, was quite disappointed to find it was just discoloration from the copper leaching. Made me think at first it was some kind of exotic material. Still, and amazing find. They didn't mention who was the excavator who found it, but I'd wager it's something they'll never forget.
Excellent presentation and good to see this added as part of TT.
What a great new feature. I've seen the original series so many times that when Miles Russell appeared here I didn't recognize him. His voice hasn't changed, but the rest of him is aging very gracefully. It reminds me of just how many years have passed. I hope I am aging as gracefully LOL - well done, can't wait for the next "episode" :)
He seemed but a boy when I first met him lol, now I feel ancient being much older.
@@brenda1378 yep - I have to remind myself the series started in the early 1990's ... and that's 30 years ago. I discovered these 10 years ago and they're so timeless ... time has a way of pulling you up short once in awhile. ROFL
Great idea for a “news” post/series and I’ll be watching with interest.
This was quite brilliant!! Thank you Dani
This format is stellar! I will be watching these archaeological news sections with much interest and enjoyment. Thank you.
Tt just gets better...thank you
Love this news episode. Can't wait for the next.
Great start to monthly news update, keep it coming
Hi Dani. You mention the post-dig finds processing and your love of it. I would love to see some video of HOW artifacts, soil samples etc are processed - not just a short two to three minutes, but an decent explanation and showing of the process, decisions, findings and subsequent analysis, i.e. what is done, how it's done, why it's done that way, how the decisions on process are made, what you actually find and how you analyse those findings to arrive at whatever conclusion. E.G. using Sutton Hoo as an example, what was done to clean and analyse the finds and the in situ soil to derive a dating etc. I, for one, am interested in some of the behind-the-scenes work which goes on for far longer than the basic dig. Yes, I've been a Patreon supporter since I heard about it, so over two years now.
