This video was an amazing experience. I also had a "hating parents" phase during covid. Maybe because my parents were living together 24/7 in a tensed environment of covid so they also were going through bad moods. And on top of that, I was in 11th(the epitome of 'angsty teen girl'). Things happened one after the other and I grew into despising my parents' dynamic and slowly hating my family. "What do they even know about me?", I'd think. It's been almost 3 years and I'm in college now, away from home. I've now realized how superficial I was when I was thinking that. See, unlike some 'toxic' parents, my parents weren't toxic. I failed to understand they're humans too! I expected Zen behavior from them, which isn't possible obviously. I'm now very grateful to my loving and supporting family.
On the other note, I had a feeling while watching this video that this vaguely sums up the circle of 'young boyhood'. The starting out as a rebel, doing what they like, then moving out and getting humbled real quick. The urge to 'prove' yourself, the underlying fear of failing, the chasing money and realizing it's not everything. Props to the cinematography and direction!

Scored less in boards this year got scolded by my mumma but papa was very calm to me he just said just do more hard work i know you will suceed that just left me so much heartbroken because of their strong belief on me.they even send me to a big city for my competitive exam even though people told them that i am gonna fail. Being with them at home was so hard for me but now so far from home i just want them. I just wait for their call at night. Sometimes i wish that i can go back and just say to my younger self that they are also new to your world they need time to understand it too. Even they had do some wrong thing to me i will always love them because i know at some point i was not a saint too. From that day i promise myself i will always try to never put them down. I know this is too long to read but this video really make me to write my feelings. Sankho bhaiya you are really the best ❤

hi bhaiya, literally tears came into my eyes when i saw this video. I am currently taking a drop, and I am not on very 'good terms' with my parents because I get a lot of taunts even after studying like 16 hours a day. I understood that parents mera bhala hi chhahte hain, they don't want me to struggle like they did in their youth. I feel so sorry for acting like a silly child, I pray to god for forgiveness if I hurt my parents in anyway possible. Thank you bhaiya for this video. Love you.
