I haven't heard too many Skinshape songs but what I've heard I really enjoyed. That being said, this one was a fun one to put together. Hope you guys enjoy this one.
Thank you! Man, to be honest I don’t remember exactly what I did but I usually process my guitars with compression, EQ, Saturation and depending on the genre, some slight reverb to smooth it all out
@@bananalabs That’s great insight. So i’m guessing it would have just been the stock reverb in ableton? I don’t think i’ve come across a video on how you setup your fender hot rod amp. I have a strat and deluxe reverb and struggle to get this clean/slightly overdriven tone
Yeah I almost always add in reverb in post production so I have more control over the mix. No I haven’t done a video on my amp setup just yet. Your best bet is to just mess with the drive and adjust it accordingly to your liking. Usually reverb smooths the drive out. Sorta just glues it all together.
Good eye! I do not use the EQ controls on the acoustic nor do I plug it in the interface. I feel I have more control in post production. Plus, I love the way the mic picks up the overall sound of the acoustic guitar itself. Maybe if I were playing live at a coffee shop or something would I use those controls on the guitar.
loving the longer videos 🙏🏻🙏🏻 thank you for putting in so much work!!! ☺️
Thank you for the continued support, Kaya! 🙏🏻✨

Love this 👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you!
This sounds incredible but really missed the mix break down on this one. How did you go about crafting that guitar tone?

thank you 🙏🙏🙏 i needed this i want to write music like skinshape so bad
Glad I could help!
I see you have that Acoustic miced, but it also seems to have an internal EQ. Does it have a jack? Do you use it?
