Ashamedly as a DT fan, I've not heard this album before or realised they had a singer before James LaBrie. They have such a distinct sound which I'm sure is why they are still a popular band today. I do miss Kevin Moore in the band, as much as I love Jordan and what he brings to the band, Kevin added a different edge that I preferred, less orchestrated, a little more raw prog rock of old sounding. Will need to hear this album fully a bit more.
Oh, you were missing. This album is really good and distinct compared to other DT albums. Like you said, Kevin Moore responsible for that, but also Charlie Dominici as well. This album wouldn’t be as impressive if LaBrie was singing. Thanks to them, as a result this album really stands out. I especially recommend to ‘The Ones Who Help to Set the Sun’ and ‘Light Fuse and Get Away’. Other tracks also good, but these two are just better ones.
