Out of all the girls we know in this series, she's the only one who was fully appreciative of what Yuya did for her from even before he became handsome. I know that the other girls we meet didn't get the chance to know Yuya before his glow up so we'll never be fully sure, but that's exactly why Kaori is the best. It's because she met Yuya before what happened to him and thought highly and respectfully of him before he changed shows her true strength of character.
This, along with how the OP ends with the two of them silhouetted convinces me that this won't be just another harem, and he'll end up with Kaori.

I swear. Half the budget must go to the eyes alone. Most of the rest to the hair. The show has so many animation shortcuts but it's gorgeous so I forgive it.
If you thought this was low budget, look at Back Street Girls and Way of the Househusband, which have no movement whatsoever except for the mouth flaps!

@@sureevoltz4120 it's the other way around. Sony which owned Funimation at the time bought CR. And they brought all animal related stuff into the CR banner. When i said Funimation, i meant their voice actors. Despite what elitist and haters say, they had a pretty good quality dubs.
@@sureevoltz4120 makes sense. Like i said I'm my previous comments. Sony removed the Funimation brand altogether (most probably to appease the anime community who had a bone to pick will then. But that's just my guess). Glad to help.

I guess you haven't actually watched it. It's much better than your average isekai. Unlike most, the MC's past self hold on to him. Years of abuse had such a profound effect on him that even after having the typical isekai glow up and power up he stuggles to think of himself as anything other than what he was. That, along with the gorgeous art style, is why it's my favorite new show this season.
