They have a new manufacturer making them. My 600LT cracked and was replaced with a new version that's lasted without issue and same with other owners experiences.
As a Mclaren owner, I suggest driving in Track Mode, the dash changes to a beautiful formula 1 type tachometer complete with yellow, red and blue shift lights
Great car but seems to have quite a bit of vibration sounds, especially in the higher rpm. I am kind off sensitive for such noises though. Wonder if it is the case for every mclaren or there is something specifically loose on this car.
This car is particularly harsh because it is an LT. It feels similar to the F430 Scuderia, which is also has insane vibrations. All to be expected from the hardcore model.

In a 430 its nothing like this. That vibration drone sound is sooo annoying and ugly😖 A Scuderia just has this beautiful NA intake sound from the inside. Yes, very raw and loud but still engine and exhaust sound clear. Its nothing like this ugly vibration sound in the LT.
The 600LT is one of my favorite cars..But only as a second or 3rd car. It would not be enjoyable to drive daily. But if You asked me to select keys, I'd always take the Mclaren (until it breaks....)

i wish i understood what they did to the engine or exhaust for this chassis. The exhaust noise doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the mp4-12c variants.

Must be due to sensors malfunctioning. The ECU reads data through the sensors and the program checks the data coming in against the preset "limits".
Sounded like the car was in self destruct mode.
