How to create patches on Digitech RP55

- I bought a super cheap and total bargain multi effects pedal which is the Digitech RP55 on eBay. It's only £12. I sold mine like 7-8 years ago and I miss playing with this pedal until a year ago my friend Juliette lend me her RP55. But obviously because it's her pedal I can't store patches there and I had to return the pedal as well.
So I got mine now. And Im ready to share to you guys my knowledge about this pedal. Such a shame though that the pedal doesn't have a box or manual but it came with a power adaptor, which is a bonus.

@@vincentryanborres Hey thanks, super video will give it a go. But isn’t there any official supported pedal which I can use without tweaking. What about the Nektar. (On another note what’s the orange unit near your pedal.)
Im not sure with the Nektar universal expression pedal because normally the expression pedal like the one I got is being used for keyboards that's why I wasn't sure. But you can give it a go. And then return it or just do how I did it. Because I think the Digitech requires TS jack and the ones on the universal expression pedal got TRS.
The red thing that I got next to the pedal is the Behringer UCA222 which is my audio interface when Im recording videos. I plug the effects pedal to it and then connect it to my ipad or iphone and record using the phone's camera. Here's the link for this audio interface: ruclips.net/video/avbKyltrQvI/видео.html

Hi Vincent I have another question if you don’t mind. When you make a patch on the Digitech RP 55 and then run it into a guitar amp (either combo or head+cabinet), do you also activate the amp simulation on the RP. Many other multifx pedals advise against that as it would be doubling up the amp. But on the RP I am not sure if that logic applies. Also, when you activate the amp on the RP, what do you do for distortion - it seems to be one or the other. Thanks!
Good day! The amp option in this pedal, works as your drive or distortion pedal. However, the pedal got a cab sim option which is the one that I turn off because it’s only useful when you’re using the pedal with like headphones or direct to a mixing desk. When I’m using an actual amp, I turn it off. So that the true sound of the amp will come out.
Again with the amp option as your distortion/drive, you can use it or if you got an individual distortion or drive pedal, it will also work in combination with the pedal.

Hi im your subscriber how to factory reset in your Rp55 to back into original factory reset plss asap😊
The procedure for performing a Factory Reset is as follows:
1. Disconnect the power supply from the RP55 (AC Power) or unplug the guitar from the input jack (battery power).
2. Press and hold the left EDIT button while re-connecting the power or plugging your guitar into the RP55's input.
3. When the display reads --, release the button and press the STORE button. The display reads rE. The RP55 is now restored to its factory settings
I try to fallow The step but when i disconnect to the power supply its already off and i have no idea why its not working but one think in my mind it is possible to have a battery power? To fix???

hello handsome. did you experience any ground/humming with high gain?
Chaka from land of the lost yes there’s ground noise or hum with high gain. Can be rectified by noisegate but Im not a fan of noisegate so I just leave it as it is. I only step on it when I needed to.
