I feel like lying falls under the deception umbrella. So while i wouldn't call omission lying, i would say that it could be deceiving.

Omission is lying lol , if u find out something a year later you’ll feel deceived like everything was a lie anyways so yes omission is a lie , transparency is what we should strive for
