Me and my husband took Q10 while trying to get pregnant after few miscarriages at the age 35. I did other changes too (more exercise, loosing few kilos even if I wasn't overweight, etc.) and our final try was successful. ❤ My baby is 2 years old now. Where I live the gynecologist don't believe in these things and don't recommend any supplements so it was all thanks to you and other doctors on RUclips, I even knew about this Q10 supplement. Thank you. 💕
I'm 35 and undergoing IVF right now. My reproductive endocrinologist doesn't recommend any supplements either, only a prenatal. He has no lifestyle tips and didn't even think it was a big deal that I quit smoking cannabis and drinking alcohol. He also doesn't offer any lifestyle advice for my husband to optimize his fertility. The clinic seems to think it's just me with low AMH/egg reserve. I have to fight for tests and do my own research.
My IVF doctor did the same thing too. He doesn't believe any supplements would help. But the second round he want to prescribe me DHEA to help boost with my egg quality!! I sometimes wonder it's a money crab for the fertility clinics to do as many round as they can to make more money. My husband and I are taking all kinds supplements to help. Bird and be is a supplement that for couples are trying to conceive. I also take CoQ10 with PQQ. You need to make sure the coQ10 ingredient. There is one that is for women trying to conceive. Also it's not a bad idea to read the book call " it starts with the egg" lots of great information. Good luck. I failed my first round of IVF because my egg quality is very poor. So before I do my second round. I am trying to improve my egg quality. Also today I just saw a natural path Dr she is ordering all the blood work testing to see where I am at on my health make sure everything is good.
The book "It Starts with the Egg" by Rebecca Fett, a Biochemist goes in to detail about this. She wrote the book after she made some helpful discoveries using her research experience in biochemistry and genetics to help her own fertility situation after she was Dx with low ovarian reserve. I think this is a very good read for anyone looking to improve their fertility!
Hi Dr. Natalie. Always appreciative for your videos! ❤ How long should you take the supplement for? Also, I’ve just started to cut out sugar and all processed food from my diet. Do I need to omit anything else from my diet ? Ie Dairy/ Wheat/ Gluten ?? Thank you so much!
Love your content and very much appreciate your dedication to sharing good information about fertility. Do you mind constructive feedback? I want to let you know the sound quality is not good compared to other RUclipsrs I follow, and it makes it hard for me to listen. I hope someday this improves significantly. :-)
Hi! I’m in the UK and the max dose I can find to buy is 200mg. The labels all advise taking one per day. Can I just take 2 or 3 per day? Current capsules are only 100mg 🤦 x
Thank you for very informative videos! Your channel has been of a great help for me)) Can you please make a video about duostim as an option in case of very low AMH? Is it worth doing?
Thanks. Been trying get me and my wife both take some. I have colitis and ibs c .. so realy heavy with inflammation im on rinvoq know was everything undersun for so far or try using. Wife is pcos with high suger .
My doctor recommended this to me as a supplement for unexplained infertility. Sadly I had to stop taking it. It gave me bad headaches, fatigue and muscle soreness. Anyone else experience anything similar when taking it? On the other hand I’ve read a lot of positive reviews.
I experienced the same. I found out that it was because of lecithin in Coq10 capsules. Now I have found Coq10/ubiquinol without lecithin and I no longer have headaches
@@NatalieCrawfordMD It would be helpful if you mentioned when to stop taking Coq10. I know some RE say it should only be taken during the follicle phase, but then other doctor's recommend taking it throughout pregnancy if you are "advanced maternal age".
@@jessicastory4010 I guess I should also just ask my fertility doctor she is the one who told me to take 800 but it just seems like to much I agree with you

I'm not even joking when I say that this type of information should be so accessible to all people across our lifespan

What are the causes of very poor sperm motility?
Hi Dr Natalie. Does the form of CoQ10 matter? If yes, which form of CoQ10 is recommended?
Thank you
I believe when I looked into it Uniquinol was the best form for absorption
What dosage do you recommend for woman fertility/ ivf?
Love your videos! ❤️ Can you please talk about the importance of choline during pregnancy? What would be the best form and dosage to take?

Is it safe to take during pregnancy? I see mixed reviews
Thank you for this information, I got my coq10 and started today. My hubby was recommend to take proxeed plus, can you do a video on that ???
Does the form matter? Ubiquinol vs ubquinine? Would also love to hear your thoughts on NAD supplements
When I looked into it, ubiquinol seemed to be the best form
Is it to be taken during ivf or just leading up to it and stop once you start injections?
Do you recommended taking this throughout pregnancy as well? Or discontinue?
I would like to know as well!
My AMH. 02 I am taking 200 mg, 1 a day, it will increase my AMH, I am from Bangladesh. Please let me know.
Should I keep taking CoQ10 once pregnant?

Try a different brand, I did the same.
@bubblu13 what brand do you take? I didn't find one without lecitin here in Europe
only 400 mcg? or did you mean mg?

Is 800mg okay to take that’s what I have
If the recommendation is 400-600mg you could take an 800mg every second day.
