    I used to live in PSJ. this bridge is over the n/s canal just west of town towards Mex Bch. Popular spot either side of bridge. No secret. I also used to wade fish from the PSJ marina east to the city boat ramp and from there east a loooong way. Like miles maybe. Once caught a HUGE red in 2’ on a basic bass plug. Even used a fly rod.

    Nasty water from run off. been there many times.

      They must love the run off because the fish stay in there for the most part. And to be fair what body of water close to civilization doesn't have it lol. Wish it wasn't that way though.

    I will be spending 2 weeks at Cape San Blas for the 4th of July....Do you have any other spots you recommend?? And will the same technics you two used be good in the water is warmer??

    • @bighamfishing36
      @bighamfishing36  5 лет назад +1

      The Cape is a good spot to fish and the techniques we use should still net you some fish. Best of luck

    This was great, thanks, been searching for "surf fishing obx august" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Wenayden Xenaylee Blaster - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my friend got excellent results with it.
