What makes this contest so amazing is every single on of these groups supports the others. They're out here to have fun, and to let other people have fun. It's fantastic.
@@Gmowenn That's true but, they weren't great at marketing it really. Lots of people are unaware it ever existed. I really think they should revive it and just made it a money grand prize! So many of the college a cappella groups, especially, would happily still compete just for the bragging rights alone. Especially with the continued success of PTX, I think there is an audience for it out there.
Committed and Street Corner Symphony were my favs. They both and incredible blends and smooth melodies. Beautiful tones and were just a pleasure to listen to, sounded like one person when they needed to and were just wonderful. They were a lot alike in ways, but each had their own style. Season 2 was the best Sing Off season!!
"Down On the Corner" was amazing! I can't say I liked "Hey Soul Sister" so much, sadly. "Bad Romance" was probably the most pleasing to watch and listen to, together.

I noticed Jeremy and made it my mission to find out what group he was in because I loved his voice so much. SCS turned out to be my favorite out of all the groups. I don't see why Committed was sch a big deal. I always felt like there was something missing from their performances. There were a few I liked, but only 1 or 2 I actually loved.

What about Jerry Lawson & Talk of the Town?? They were AMAZING!!! The way they sang Satisfaction was incredible! And House of the Rising Sun DAAAAMN! I think they should've gone at least 3rd...

@TheSoSoAgnostic committed and street corner sym are the two best groups ever on that show. Hands down. There are very few groups that a had a combination of great harmony, rythm, vocalists,control, and creativity on that show. Many groups had a lot of antics, gimmickery, and sound effects (like pentatonix) but few had the pure singing and musical talent of those two groups. It's not even close, in my opinion.
@codelow9 Ummm I have grown to know Jeremy quite well......partied with him many times.....that is soooooooooo far from what he is like! He is the nicest guy you could meet and is having fun and thrilled at the doors this has opened! Check out his solo CD The Bed You Made.
Why is there no PTX on this list? I mean, if your going by, I don't know, dancing, then I understand why. But even then "Video killed the Radio star was pretty good... or is that just me?
Season 2 would have to be the best season of all 3 just my personal opinion. 3 was good and 1 was just sucky when you go back and watch it after 2 and 3

Street corner symphony my favorite but they sing my type of music. however committed and street corner symphony the best groups so far since sing off has started. no one comes close
@Idolfancom Season 3 doesn't even have as good a groups as season 2. I mean, the only good groups in season 3 are Afro Blue, Yellowjackets, and Delilah right now. And they are nothing compared to Street Corner Symphony, Committed, The Backbeats, Jerry Lawson and Talk of the Town, On the Rocks, and Groove for Thought. It's just disappointing...
I disagree, and I can't believe that you left out "Cooler Than Me" by Groove For Thought and "House Of The Rising Sun" by Jerry Lawson and Talk Of The Town, both definitely top 5 performances. And I think personally that Kyrie was a better performance for OTR.
I LOVE SCS! they were amazing and they definately shouldve demolished committed in votes. i still believe it was rigged. (no offense to any committed fans but SCS was better)

Pentatonix=Meh. Have yet to hear something particularly impressive by them other than lets get it on, and the key that thats in is too low. Sorry if you wanna crucify me because of that.

Bad Romance was definitely not the #1 performance of Season 2, but it was decent.
I honestly felt Street corner and the Backbeats deserved winning this more then whoever actually won. Was it committed?
