Suggestion list: * Cargo Access point on the belly of the MCV so you can grab a fresh hydrogen bottle and stow/grab parts when working on the ground * Ladder, elevator, ramp, or stairs to allow you to re-board MCV without H2. * Articulated arm with connector to allow you to connect to trade stations for bigger trades from MCV inventory. - A custom turret controller might be the easiest way to control it. - Depending on how good you are at precision parking, you may be able to get away with simpler versions. - Alternative trick for large trades: Build a connector and cargo container right on the trade outpost connector. Deposit items for trade into container, complete deal, then salvage when done. * Belly mounted camera forward of Drill opening for lining up with ore patches. - Lights too for night mining. * BFG (Big *ahem* "Friendly" G*n) - flying remote drone fitted with Railgun for scouting and disarming hostile whatever. Or maybe you prefer a custom turret. - Might be worth aiming for connection points of weapons instead of weapons themselves in hopes of salvaging more valuable components AND ammo in tact. Missile and Artillery ammo! Better to blow up some armor blocks and conveyers to get the tasty weapon parts.
To avoid any further issues with getting up on the rig in case you run out of hydrogen you can put a piston with some flat pieces on the head to act as a lift system, then also add 3 buttons (1 on the lift itself, 1 on the undercarriage, and 1 on the floor of the rig) to control the lift
I'd like to suggest some ladders to get up and down the craft. Basically ask yourself - How would I get to THIS PLACE without the jetpack? to from the ground and up into the vehicle, as well as to the top of the "sail"
31:50 : Vision range on objects seems to be calculated with a box and not with a ball shape, so if you look straight at something, you have vision length X, but if you stand a bit sideways to it, it will be SQRT(2x)= 1.41x, which is a bit longer, thus explaining how it can disappear. School math, it finally got used.
Info - show centre of mass, this is not so important on a ship but on a rover it is vital, that storage box and h2tank so high up will have some expensive explosive rolling fun, also remember GYRoooo 😂
Maybe set up a sensor on the grinder head, with it's range just exceeding the grinders, to shut off/on the hinge. Then the grinders won't push on the blocks and you don't need to turn the movement speed way down.
There is a "nanobot" mod, called the "Build and repair". That is so much fun. and can be a grinder and a welder at the same time. Also, the grinders could be mounted on the rear of the MCV, as a plow-o-destruction. And then you have only reverse to your target to dismantle...
We're trying to keep this one less mod heavy than some of the other playthroughs we've done, but if you like the Build And Repair you should check out our Suit Only Survival!

You need to put the grinder have 2 modes for it wall and floor mode *Kinda like hidden into the car but then a piston pushes it out and the wall mode would be hold up with a hinge so you can just run into to grind it and not have to get in the perfict position

Can you do multi direction hinges to have a trailer that is pulled by the MCV? Don't know if you can do free bearing type hinges in SE and then do them in all 3 directions.

Make sure to put more lights on the front at 45 degree angles like you have the window/cockpit area. VERY fun series.

You could put an assembler wing on the other side for symmetry. Then you could flap your wings while using the thrusters for extra pizzazz.

Also, if one refinery was slow, build more!! Increasing speed does help but if you build more refineries you dont need to change the default settings.
