One of my very best friends is Japanese, and she explained to me that in Japan they actually have a kind of "culture" when it comes to wrapping presents... because they consider the wrapping of the present as a part of the gift itself, and so that's why they take such care when wrapping their gifts (and also opening a gift they've received as well.) I was intrigued by this concept, because as Americans, we (in most families) rip through the wrapping to get straight to the contents quickly lol. When I listened to her explain, it was logical and reasonable to consider that the wrapping is just as important as the gift, as they *both* took time to make. I have adapted this into my regular gift giving standards and it really is delightful giving a gift to someone that has been thoughtfully wrapped. And I was so encouraged to watch my friend open her birthday present so carefully and respectfully. It made me smile. Thank you for this video. I have a few new tricks up my sleeve now, thanks to you heehee 😁🥰❤
Hi!!! I am so glad to have found your channel! Thank you for sharing your amazing skills with us. I can use these great wrapping ideas to impress my family and friends. Also, love your video style; very simple and smart! Love from the UK x
Beautiful! I hope I can figure out the paper measurements. That was the only part that could have been a little slower or more detailed. But maybe only for me lol. I’m going to give it a try. Thank you for sharing.
This so great. I love it. It only requires 2 tapes. My first attempt was no where near this. However it still looked better than my usual wrapping. Your my inspiration. I will practice and get better. Please list the supplies you use and if possible where to get them from. Thank you.
I have no idea how but from the very beginning I thought it was performed by some Japanese, and I happened to be right! It was a pure pleasure! Such a perfect and lovely and heartwarming job! Thanks a lot! Cordial greetings from a Ukrainian! 👍🏻🙏🏻💛💙
I clicked the video seeing the thumbnail and I subscribed watched the whole video then went to discover your channel dint regrert it, I LOVED IT .....업로드 해주셔서 감사합니다
This was absolutely wonderful, and can I just say, the form the instructions were given was so kind. The "please" made me smile every time I saw it, if someone asked me to do something for them like that, I would for I no matter what it is.
Thanks for your feedback. The reason why please was written a lot is that Korean has honorable words, so it seems that please was written a lot when I turned the translator. Corrected the subtitles in your opinion.
I've watched several of these videos today and I didn't know that there were written instructions if you turn on CC. I'll have to go back and watch the other ones again.
Beautiful! You wouldn't happen to have a link for the blade and creasing tool you use, would you? Would love to have a list of these things to make it easier.
Thank you so much for the tutorial, both very pretty wrapping! My mother’s birthday is next Friday and unfortunately I can’t go to Los Angeles where she lives, to celebrate her birthday but I’ll be sending her a couple of birthday presents for her to surprise my mother, I think I’ll give it a try to wrap her gifts like this because it looks even more special for her. Thank you and take good care of yourself! 💖😁
Thank you. I am very sad to hear that you cannot be together on your mom's happy birthday. But I think you can communicate your heart enough to your mother. I hope you and your family are all healthy. Congratulations on your mom's birthday 💕
Need a quick totrial and this was within the recommended vid, I thought I had cut it too short with my only paper until I realized I had the box oriented the other way around. Thank you..
Thank you for the videos. The help was much needed. While my gift wrapping is nowhere near as gorgeous, at least there has been a marked improvement from the godawful products before
I do this technique and sometimes leave the folds a little bit loose, so the crisscross makes a pouch and then you cans slide a little ornament or candy into it.
Hi Areumdeuri! Thank you so much for sharing these gift wrapping ideas. I actually just finished using the first method to wrap my brother's birthday gift! 🙂 I was not expecting this but I was also able to slide a birthday card into the outer flap which was a really nice bonus of this wrapping technique. 😁
It is sold in the Korean market. If you purchase the supplies for my gift-wrapping lesson, they are included. Check out the link below :) www.idus.com/oc/my/class/256251

Love this! I have tried the first one and although it is not nearly as neat as yours, it looks very fancy. And I used just one piece of tape. Genius!
This made me so happy and gave me so much inspiration to wrap beautiful gifts
The package looks so pretty.
The video is detail and clear.

Absolutely beautiful! What type of tape was used and what tool was used for cutting?
I used Sookwang double-sided tape, and the knife is just a stationery knife.

So where could I get the paper cutter that you're using? It would be so much better than scissors. Thank you.
