@@miriamclancy Hi Miriam. My sister saw this track and remembered the connection. We had a great group of young guys (collectively known as The Lads) who hung out together around the town at the pub, parties etc. Meeting Roelof was a pretty random chance meeting but happy to have known him for those years. I have photos of Rolf (as we called him) at my 21st and wedding and would be happy to share. My memory is fading and not sure if we went to his wedding as we lost contact as you do once we were married with children. But sadly we did go to both funerals. Before he met Marie his great loves were the Dutch football team and Jethro Tull 🙂. Unfortunately never met any of his family but think of him whenever meeting old friends or playing Tull.

Roelof and I were good mates late 60s early 70s, played golf together among other things. A good friend but a tragic story.
