The young players did so well. Spence, gray, bergval, Johnson, kinsky were fantastic. I think this showed that the senior boys and the big wage boys are a part of the problem we've had. We've been the better team in all but a couple of the games we've played this season, yet have lost way too many. Leadership on the pitch is a big problem we have. Ange has been getting a lot of stick. Without the injuries, if he picked a team like that for the game, he'd have got pelters. Obviously this was a game we didn't dominate. The fight from the team that was out there was utterly fantastic. Well done boys.
How many talented youngsters does Ange have to sign before fans start to believe, can you imagine what this team will be in 3 years? The ref explanation was that as long as it wasn’t a cynical tackle and advantage is played then it wasn’t a card. The ref judged it not a foul. This ref let a lot of suspect tackles go throughout the match especially after the yellow for Bergvall which was not a card.

It is good that Gray and now Bergval are showing such promise so quickly and well done to Ange for this. Before Xmas it was easy to think they might need a year or two and question why we went so heavy on young players. Gray playing out of position still. Thought he was MOTM last night. Bergval now had his two best games. He just has to stop diving in or he will get a red card very soon for two yellows. Kinsky was simply superb. The confidence on his debut. In front of a huge crowd and on a big occasion. Have to say well done to the club and it is such an important position and helps our other defenders. With no issues over kicking, sweeping up, passing out etc. It makes you wonder why we stuck with Forster as deputy for so long? Hopefully a couple more buys or loans. Players come back and our season can be saved. We have all been down, dreading the next game and feel for the manager and had some frustration where he wouldn’t use Spence or a few youngsters when we know others have been so tired and not performing.
Should Lucas have had a yellow for the second challenge? Yes (ref's opinion: no) Should Lucas had a yellow for the first challenge? No (ref's decision: yes) Hence if we play the "should have" game, Lucas ends up with one yellow and stays on the pitch irrespective. 🤷♂️
Sonny doesn’t fit with this new squad. He’s creating ins to the team but getting no service, and that’s deflating. Being in captain seat may not be his strong suit however supportive and positive he may be. This is a startup squad with everyone hungry to make impact, he is old guard. I see subtle internal misalignment. Go to Barcelona and fly

Unfortunately and sadly we are seeing the final days of Son at the top of his game and at the same time we are witnessing in Johnson a person who if at Madame Tussaud's would be asked to keep moving as they are stock taking.
I don’t agree. You can still in the early parts of the game, he still has his speed. I just think he’s knackered and he needs more rest and rotation. I have faith once we get in a different winger to compete on the left we will see the best of Sonny again
Someone should put a contract out on Howard Webb at PGMOL. These self important officials and their VAR bullshit, think the game is about them. When fans can’t celebrate a goal because of this flawed technology with morons at Stockley Park who often need to get to Specsavers, have ruined the game. Why the clubs voted to keep this crap when Wolves put forward a motion to get rid, is totally pathetic.
