So i tried following along to the tutorial and i get everything with the background but when i move the text to the foreground and do the 0 opacity and the Shallow Knock Out my text just cuts out and leaves a transparent shape where my letters are and i cant do the black layer in between. Can you give me some pointers?
Two things you should consider: 1.decrease to Zero the " Fill Opacity" in Advanced Blending mode Not "Opacity" in Blending mode 01:47 . and make sure the option "Transparency shape layer" is checked. 2. the Mask layer here 02:00 must be white inside and black outside. if not use "Alt key" when adding mask.
I did all the steps with you... step by step, but at the last step in using the brush, the color black is used and the writing does not appear at all... and I tried several times...Where could the problem be?
