In my opinion this was Toto at their peak (when Simon was present). Super tight and they just sound amazing. Everything is just right musically. They still got the fire, but also have the experience and maturity as a band.
Bissonette did better job imho. Simon is great in hard, heavy grooves, but in latin stuff not so much. Mike Porcaro somewhere also said that he prefers Gregg.
Wow that concert. Luke's vocals are from another planet. And that drum sound my god .... Sounds incredible on Dave's Gone Skiing. I love to hear Luke singing A Million Miles Away

I'm do glad that Toto are now gaining far more popularity here in Ireland and in the UK than they did back then. Countries like Norway could clearly always appreciate good music as well as good musicianship, but mine only went for what was "popular" in the UK and America etc. Toto played Dublin in 1996 but it was in a small club that was barely full even then. It took until 2015 to come back and play a bigger venue, which was totally sold out, I'm happy to say. 3 years later they played the same venue but for 2 nights. I'm only sorry its taken Ireland this long to "grow up" and appreciate very good music.

DRAG HIM TO THE ROOF!!!
撮り方下手!
Bissonette my favorite Toto drummer after Jeff! Luke could still sing back then, but still incredibly boring as lead singer and front man for Toto!
He never was the frontman. He's always denied it!
I think his vouce is still good. It's got better since he quit smoking.
