Okay so I'm a Cypher main and honestly, I'd put both KJ and Cypher on S-tier. The following is just my opinion and is bound to change. Killjoy is good for both attacking and defending, while Cypher is mostly good on defending. KJ has limited range, while Cypher can watch a site from the other side of the map. KJ's tech can only alarm where the general direction of the enemy is, while Cypher can pinpoint exactly where the enemy is. However, Cypher's tech is limited to looking for where the enemy is, while KJ can actually help the rest of the team with claiming a site. So I would say that if you're going to choose a Sentinel, you can choose either one based on your play style. Edit: In attack, KJ's tech is pretty limited in watching flank. They're good in defending post plant tho. Meanwhile Cypher's really good in watching flank (trips and cam) and camera is good for watching angles you can't watch personally. Also camera for early info if your team wants to push site. Cages are good as pseudo smoke as well. On defense, KJ can basically hold down a site and deny plant. For Cypher, well you pretty much have to play ratty for the most part (this is where Cypher setups are really goo, having a good and hidden cam, then ratty cages + trip combo) KJ is better in holding a site but the cooldown on recalling bots prevents a quick retake, unless you have ult and grenades. Also I love how KJ turret can just kill those with low health easily. Cypher is good for getting information on site (on both attack and defense) and unli range trips can get you free kills and free info, as well as prevent Jett/Raze players from dashing into the site (but it depends on how you put your trip). Could also prevent Skye dog from getting too much info. Only downside is that any damaging util can destroy it. At least cages are indestructible.

Chamber main here. I get that Chamber isn't a strong sentinel anymore. He's still a strong agent, if you have cracked aim with the headhunter and OP. Not the best but still strong with good aim, this is just for ranked tho

Also their pick rates on professional arena and high elo is just speaks for itself. I love Cypher myself but like theres no need to be biased on a *tier list* about a characters strength.

There is no S tier sentinal. There are some that are S tier on specific maps, (kj on ascent, sage on sage on icebox)
