He would make plays that other players wouldnt even imagine, let alone try. Unsurpassed tennis SKILL on the court. We shouldn't forget how high federer set this particular bar. Watching videos like this reminds me, so thanks and great job!

Yeah an absolute legend of the game it’s crazy that he tried a between the leg shot twice and both times managed to place the ball perfectly away from the other player

Federer is unmatched in his hand and racquet skills. But people forget how explosive and fast he was in younger years before 2010’s. He would clock 130mph serves on occasion back then, 50 aces vs Roddick at 2009 Wimbledon even with a small 90 inch thin beam frame.. Most talent, best offense AND defense he rarely needed, stronger and faster across the ENTIRE court than prime Nadal and Joker. Unreal speed and acceleration to match his velociraptor instincts when he was at his athletic best in his youth.

Whenever i watch Federer video's, I'm more convinced that we'll never see another like him again. imo the closest there is right now is Alcaraz, with all the amazing shot selections and executions he pulls off. We'll have to see if he has the staying power of Federer. The Fed's pro career started in 1999, and with a couple of interruptions, flourished pretty much up until he retired in '22.

The smash off the Roddick smash has to be one of the best ever.

That return smash he hit here against davydeniko was insane the ball as high above his head but he still won the point he had no right to win that point I swear some of the things he did on the court no other player would never attempt and be able to pull off, incredible
