      Definitely vector brush dude
Although recently have been trying to implement some raster brushes in my work for shadow like you say but mainly vector brush is my go too .

Nicely explained thank you. It's pretty confusing trying to figure out the difference but I shall now remember voodoo for vector haha that's great!!

Good video. What's your opinion of "vector" brushes that are actually only pixels that follow along a curve or line? I personally believe that if something is going to be called a vector, then it should be exactly that, a vector, with clean edges and has the ability to be converted into a full vector object if need be. If you can't convert/expand then it's not a vector.

That makes sense, I wonder whether it's called a "vector" purely because it doesn't use pixels in the "traditional" way. Either way if it works the way I want and can be helpful to the design process then I don't really mind
