Yo we literally had the same deck, I just use the 3 3 split of bt17 gallantmon and bt12 gallantmon cause I hadn't got my hands on the megidra yet. Anyways, great video as usual😊
In my opinion, I feel the support Gallantmon needs is either ways to speed up the deck more or slow the opponent down like crimson blaze to be able to compete in the meta. Even if it gets more protection, it just always seem like it is always behind in terms of setting up or aggression. It's only real good matchup is against go wide decks like Bloom which doesn't come up too often.
If I run gallantmon, I want recovery (when it remove from battle area), either play out takato/guilmon. Idk if it’s too busted or not referring to any lore, but I would love some way to not leave the board empty
@@paperbagboi5866 that doesn't sound busted at all. Very much needed. Megidramon already does that but I feel it's a wasted slot cause you pretty much have to go all the way up to a lvl6 and it die to just set up a clap back. I've been testing Gallant anytime I get the chance and by the time you have the trash almost set up to do Gallant shenanigans. You're pretty almost or already dead. Definitely needs more ways to cheat out Takato because it relies so much on having the tamer out and faster ways to fill trash.
your list and my theory are so similar it's uncanny, slight differences tho, I'm playing: Guilmon: 4x BT17, 4x EX2, 2x ST7, 1x EX4 - As you said, EX4 guil isn't one you want to see early and I think potentially being able to biomerge + warp on the same turn can be a good tempo swing with scramble playing another guil + ST7 Guil from raising. 11 rookies. I really hate BT12 guil, it's just another way of saying "bottom deck 5 cards if you didn't see takato" Growlmon: Same line up, except I'm on 9 champions (4x blackgrowl, 3x BT17 growl, 2x BT12) Wargrowl: Exact same line up lol Gallant/Megidra: 3x MegiAce, 1x BT13, 3x BT17. The idea to not play raid is because, I'm not playing enough DP boosts and a 12k raid is basically suicide. However, a 14k blocker potentially is much scarier. Crimson Ace: 2x of course. Options: Exact same training + scramble line up. I'm not playing saviour, I think Trident Gaia is way too important for cards like Tyrant so I'm playing 2x. Tamers: I'm playing 3-2-2 ratio EX2-BT12-BT17
All of the Gallantmons are just too fair. Hardly any boss monsters are fair in this game anymore. Gallant just doesn’t punish your opponent enough, it takes too long to set up, and relies too heavily on Takato because of this. I really wish Gallant was good, but they really need to revamp the whole line.
@@secretminiboss maybe Bandai is scared that if they make it too good, they will have to hit it and then that would piss a lot of people off for hitting the deck after FINALLY making it playable.
My friends were theorizing that the advanced decks have been going along the lines of the Digimon Tamers main characters. So far we've had Beelzemon, Terriermon, next would be Guillomon or Renamon.

That egg is def the correct one. It makes crimson blaze hit lvl 6s consistently

i hope it gets an advanced deck or something later. Bandai just does NOT want Gallantmon to thrive lol

You're sleeping on it.
