    This is why we INTPs usually just try to avoid people because of how awkward it gets. It’s the equivalent to the awkwardness of Amazon Echo and Google Home trying to have a conversation.

    • @ChrispyNut
      @ChrispyNut 3 года назад +12

      FWIW, it gets better with experience....... so long as you don't end up in a psych-ward before Fe gains the experience and therefore maturity to cope with such things (or, in my case, being raised by an ESFJ and thus getting a headstart by observing, memorizing and replicating the blah blah blah that's meant to follow blah blah blah initiations).

    This is so accurate... When i was 15 i was hanging out with a girl, she was interested in me, and i kinda had feelings for her too. One day we went to the movies and she asked me if i gifted flowers to a girl before, i told her i no, because I'm a shy kind of person. Then she bought flowers in some random store, and gave it to me and told me "give it to one girl you like". I gave the flowers to the first stranger that walked near from me. The girl never talked to me again, it took me one week to realise she bought the flowers so i could gave it to her. 🤦🏻

    For a long time I thought there must be something wrong with me, because a lot of appropriate social responses I had to learn through observation of other people. I thought normal people are supposed to have this innate knowledge how to behave according to accepted social norms and couldn't understand why it's not so natural to me. Guess it's just the INTP experience. And there are dozens of us. DOZENS.

    Hey Lili, I usually just read the comments, but I had to say (write) something. I LUUUV this skit. INTPer here. I can relate. When you said 'drinking the blood to be bonded forever', I was onboard with that train of thought. It would be more personal than a ring that society has conditioned women to crave. Then the inevitable look comes, when you pop their bubble. The added bonus, categorizing marriage in the 'Ritual' section. Priceless 😆.
    Now I know why some just walk away after a 'nice' convo with me 😂😭😂.

    At 0:43, the mystery woman's reply that "No, it's more of a cardigan" triggers the initiation of an entirely new subroutine that further drains from the INTP's already stressed Si and Fe capacities required to keep some semblance of a polite conversation going. To wit: it triggers first a syllogistic query as to the logical relationship between the categories "sweater" and "cardigan" Then, upon arrival at the perfectly reasonable conclusion that the category "cardigan" overlaps, if, perhaps, and furthermore quite debatably, not entirely, at the very least, to such a sufficiently large extent with the more general category of "sweater" to identify with a high degree of confidence a statement such as this, one which implies that "sweater" and "cardigan" ought to be understood as mutually exclusive categories, as absurd. This conclusion, in turn, triggers a query into the INTP's etiquette protocol database as to whether it would be appropriate to point out to your interlocutor the obvious fallacy of her assertion. And it also triggers a simultaneous rumination upon the question of what such a logically flawed contention might reveal as to this other woman's level of general knowledge and intellectual processing capacity. And these, in turn, trigger in the INTP the initiation of certain socially learned, but barely understood and only marginally tolerated, suppression of expression protocols that, in turn, drain even more from Si and Fe capacities . . .

    I kind of like the idea where you want to drink their blood to be bonded forever
    but wouldn't that be unhygienic? I guess not if you use a syringe and make sure your partner has a compatible blood type as you, then I guess it might work. I've accidentally cut my lips enough times to know that blood tastes kinda nice so taste won't be a problem either
    I'm thinking way too much about this

    • @midoarin6874
      @midoarin6874 3 года назад +1

      If you are really drinking the blood, as in oesophagus - stomach, the blood type is not of importance as the hydrochloric acid, which is contained in the gastric acid, will destroy everything. You could basically eat metal and it will be dissolved by your stomachs acidity..... And now my brain remembers one guiness world record where a guy ate a whole airplane. So yeah, eating/drinking blood ain't an issue. I mean, with all the rare steaks and blood sausages going on world wide...lolz
      The only thing that might make it dangerous though is that, if there should be micro-tears in the soft tissue of mouth and/or oesophagus and the "blood donour" is having some infectious sickness, then via those micro-tears one could get infected too as there wouldn't be a functioning mucous membrane barrier.
      So therefore, I wouldn't advise drinking it. Though chances are slim, I wouldn't risk it if I wouldn't know the other person is 100% healthy.
      Oh, and on that note if one thinks that micro tears - different blood type would cause issues - because the intake/contact of different blood types would be so small, that the immune reaction would be to dissolve, the to the body unknown, erythrocytes. (blood transfusion obviously are a total different story)
      ... As with all things - the dosage makes the poison.
      (any grammar error or bad choice of words. Sorry. English is neither my 1st nor my 2nd language 😉)

    • @midoarin6874
      @midoarin6874 3 года назад +1

      @@larsswig912 well... Thank you.
      And with the "apologising for English" thing... I obviously can't speak for everyone but I can imagine for a lot of people it has to do sth with insecurities. I, f.e.,was subpar in school in english, always was on the bottom grade-wise. Basically learnt english when working in another country. But I learnt it "by ear", instinctually so to say. With talking I am confident, but when writing I start to doubt myself. So that's way, at least for me, the reason to apologize as I don't want to, unintentionally, give a wrong impression by f.e. not using the absolute correct words.
      As for the nutrition level of blood...it is not as high as one thinks. Yes, water is the major content, but it contains, thanks to the hemoglobin, quite a bit of iron. (This is also a reason why, when low in iron levels, liver is suggested to eat. As liver store blood for when the body needs an higher amount of it (mainly with flight animals. Cows, especially within horses, can store up to several liters of blood in theirs so as when fleeing they basically are doping themselves with EPO😂) )
      Other nutrients, like I said, are not AS high content wise. I know of one indigenous tribe in Africa (pretty sure there might be other tribes in the world who do this too) that, when there are really dire times, they will once in a while peg their cows for a tiny amount of blood as to give them something that has a bit of nutritional value. They won't do it often, as their survival very much depends on their livestock, so they take great care not to do it too often and only when there is no other choice. (so no worries, cows survive this😉)

      You can't "change" your type. You can work on your weaknesses and utilize your strengths, but that doesn't change your type.
      It is possible to defy the stereotypes to a certain extent.
